  1. Well it took a lot of looking but eventually found an image of a Canadian Dak with skis ! On page 139 of Canadian Military Aircraft - Finish and Markings 1968-2004 by Patrick Martin ( forgot I had that one ! ), 12905 is pictured at Edmonton in rescue markings, so i'll have a go at that one I guess. Thanks guys
  2. Hi Guys, In light of the new Airfix C-47 Skytrain kit having snow skis and me having a thing about building Canadian models, surely the RCAF / CAF must have had skis for their Daks with all that white stuff they have. So can anyone point out the way to find any images of Canadians with skis fitted, I've tried a couple of Google image searches but no Canadian's with skis ! Cheers, Pete
  3. Hi Guys, After just having had a flight in a Cornell I have a hankering to build a 1:48th Cornell so.........Does anyone have experience of the Planet Models PT-26 Cornell resin kit. Good ? Bad ? Average ? Pete
  4. How's about the Martin Baker MB-5 ? a Fairey Firefly ? and I would probably spend a fortune on a gaggle of Hawker singles Typhoon / Tempest / Sea Fury's. Just think how good a Folland Gnat would look ! Pete
  5. For me, Airfix Sea Vixen and two Bronco Leopard track sets !
  6. Hi Rogerd, a quick google of N198F reveals it is indeed a civilian regd. F8F-2 although according to the Federal Aviation Administration it is not a current registration. HTH. Pete
