  1. Nice review, thanks. What aftermarket decals are there for this kit?
  2. Superb product only let down by the plastic folder thing they come in... near impossible to get the decals back in without considerable swearing and angst.
  3. Nice job. I think the Hasegawa Zero’s still look damn fine.
  4. Hi James. The silver is Tamiya AS-12 decanted. The yellow is a mix of Gunde RLM yellow and standard yellow.
  5. Just finished. Extras were Ultracast seat and exhausts, True Details wheels, Master gun barrels and Aeromaster decals. Nice old kit that still goes together well. Enjoy!
  6. Finished back in April. OOB with exception of the decals from tally Ho. Enjoy!

    ICM 1/48 Ju-88's

So ICM have done a batch of A models and are starting C models I believe. Has there been any indication that they'll do G models in the near future? Thanks
  8. Looks like a stack were taken on an Australian trip. I see Sydney, Fremantle and I believe the entrance to Jervis Bay all there. Great pics!
  9. Just finished. Absolute dog of a kit, not too sure if it was me or the kit, maybe a bad run, but it fought me all the way. Poor fit in many places including the radiator, wings to fuselage and cockpit pieces. I was very close to giving it up at many times but I'm happy in the long run I didn't. Build OOB with the exception of a QB seat and True Details wheels. Thanks for looking.
  10. Hi all, Can someone please tell me if the rear view mirror that sits atop the fwd canopy piece is present in the kit? The part is not shown in the instructions as both versions don’t have it fitted but I thought it may still be on a sprue but not identified. Thanks in advance.
  11. Finished a few weeks ago after a six month effort. Only additions on what is a lovely kit were Eduard etch ejection seat pull handles and mirrors, and QB pitot probe and ejection seats. I also used Furball decals which went on really well. Build is long but trouble free, just watch the windscreen portion connection to the fuselage and the front undercarriage leg. Here's the pics, please comment and provide feedback if you wish.
  12. Thanks guys, Troy, the prop looked the right one from the Iliad decals so went with it, and I did find a pic on the net I recall of the aircraft in this scheme, will go searching again soon.
