As an aside, for those who hate PE or can't work with it, chamfering the sides of the mudguards can work almost as well. W -

You'd have thought the Germans would have replaced those with MG34s. Looking good though. W -

Most SKP kits come with a plethora of pieces to construct the hull. Moulding limitations at the factory I suspect. How do the details compare to the Tamiya kit? W

A start has been made. Not much but I hope to get the other side's torsion bars done tonight. I have a question. Why do kit manufactures spend all that time and effort to provide details of the torsion bars when they don't supply any other interior bits? Surely they could make the kit a fiver cheaper by just having mounting holes on the hull side? Exasperatedly W

In early 2014, I realised a long held ambition which was to dip my toes gently into the large scale figure genre. I started with a 1/7 scale IGNIS from E2046. Of course, being a modeller of many years, the research programme kicked in so I hit the web and gleaned the above. So, here is number one........... Ignis number 2 And number 3 There are still two more versions out there.! Never ending, this hobby. W

Check out doll websites on ebay. A lot of the Chinese ones do replacement eye decals in all shapes, sizes and colours. W

Fit was never Zvezdas' strong point in their earlier kits. Their Tiger I on the other hand....... W

All together now............................."And the wheels on the tank go round and round...etc etc" W

Wow.! This must qualify as the most expensive build on here so far. I've built an Accurate Armour kit and the biggest let down was the quality of the instructions. With this complicated level of kit, I'd suggest going slowly and carefully and have a couple of bottles of superglue handy. Best of luck with it.! W

Always lots of bits in a Dragon kit, leaves plenty for the spares box. Will you be adding crew figures? W -
