Very impressive model... striking livery... my two attempts at airliners look positively amateurish but yours have inspired me with my next build to step up my game...

As all BMW 507 were actually roadsters with detachable hardtops you could have both

A gem of a BMW.... extremely rare and very valuable... and your recreation does it justice. Very nice indeed.

I have a moisture trap regulator on my compressor which negates for this type... but when I was using a little diaphragm compressor this type of trap was useful.

I'm sure you knew it was the manufacturers name.... of course it could easily have been in the tradition of ironic names like robin hood's Little John

What a load of nonsense is being said on this thread.... As for the actual modelling.... cracking subject for a build and what a scale to do it in... should be very imposing when complete.

What CAR/BIKE kits have you recently bought 2?
Séan Pádraig replied to shood23's topic in Vehicle Discussion
No LHD option however it looks like a straight forward conversion... my own one was a facelifted version (square rear light) which is also not an option. I hear a 2002 turbo version is coming soon -

Couldn't resist these beauties especially at Hiroboy discount prices.... I had a 1974 model 2002 in white but will be building this as the box art. My all time favorite race car the E30 M3... I actually got two of these but want a 3rd as I want to build the box art version but also the Macau GP winner and the B&H Australian Touring car version. -
Unfortunately everyone has an opinion and the anonymity of the computer screen means that many get shared without any real relevance... I personally can't understand the logic of such actions... what do they gain...

Circa 1977.... Airfix's Fairey Battle or the Blohm & Voss BV 141.... followed within a few years by a 1/24 Harrier and Junkers Ju-87... I was a lot braver back then (brush p ainted and not a hint of aftermarket)

The kit I bought at Southern Expo last month comes with Aer Turas decals already...

Cheers for the kind words... I have popped the windshield off now and will attempt to polish it up (or even Vac form a new one) -
I only discovered Liquid Chrome a few months back and have only used the 1mm & 2mm pens... the pens are refillable and it is the refill bottle (30ml) that is being sprayed... I do plan to try it out but haven't yet. The guy in the video says that it needs 24hrs to harden/dry but when dry he rubbed it without any residue coming off.
