  2. I will be building the Tamiya 1/32 P-51D as Big Beautiful Doll. I just need to get the first of my 1/32 Tamiya P-51's finished, so should get started on this one next weekend Will be using Eagle Cal decals, RB Production Seat Belts, Barracuda Decal Placards, GMA resin tyres, Eduard P-51D Exterior Set, Eduard Paint Mask

The both of the side interiors are now almost completed, just got a few more control wires to add before I close it up. .30cal is completed and the gunners position is painted but still needs the seat, seat belts an gunners rear support belt added. Radio painted and finished After that going to try and make up the ammo rack out of PE plus the spare ammo cans.

  6. Well decided on the build for this, will be doing Ole Cock III in 1/32nd scale using the Hasegawa P-47D kit, possible with a twist to the final color

  10. Hi Jason 1. Try using a rattle can spray, the best I have found is Mr Super Clear 2. I have found with some Tamiya decals you need a stronger solvent if you can get it the best is Solvaset, if not get the Daco Decal set comes in three strengths 3. Even sealed you can go back and put more solvent on, just get a pin and pierce the surface and put more on, not going to say it works all the time but it does sometimes hope this helps Mike
  11. Need to ask 1. what gloss did you put down before the decals 2. what setting solution did you use 3 have you sealed the decals yet

Hi Darren All I did was vary the base color and use a MIG Wash So it was Gunze H58 80% Thinners to 20% paint Lightened with RLM04, well thinned 90% thinners to 10% paint Then added more H58 thinned some more Then lightened with RLM04 thinned again Did this about 6 times Future Coat MIG Wash Chipping with Dark green Paint Flat Coat with Model Masters Flat
