  1. Dave, I don,t know if its just that kit but I am working 4 Kinetic F-16,s at the moment and they have all gone together rather well F-16I Sufa F-16C Barak F-16A F-16B
  2. Armour kits back in the 1970,s were 1/32 scale (Airfix, Revell, Frog), then along came Tamiya and produced armor kits in 1/35 to match up with Japanese O gauge railroad models and as we say the rest is history
  3. For my second build I will be using the Tasca M4A3E8 Sherman The model will be based on the tanks from the 14th Armoured Division with there improvised sandbag armour For extras I will be using the Legend stowage set, Evergreen strip to build the sand bag supports to the hull and turret and apoxie sculpt for the sand bags Crew will be from Dragon and MiniArt
  4. Right this is the first one I will be building, the Tamiya 1/35 M-51 Sherman She will be finished as a tank from The 6 Day War of 1967 Have not built any armour for about 6 years now so it should be fun Will be adding some PE to the kit from Eduard this is on order plus some decals I picked up on E-bay
  5. Great camo work there Lloyd, sure is different
  6. Think I have decided on the Sherman I will base my build on
  7. Luis my friend, that is some awesome work there Like Mish said nice to see her finished its been worth the wait and great to see you can still get some modeling in Look forward to hearing from you hopefully soon
  8. Thought I would enter this GB with these. These will be the first German aircraft I have ever built They will be finished as one of the following not sure which one yet The A5 The A8 will be finished as either one of these two As for the top A8 any thoughts on the colour of the blue?
  9. Time for the first update Cockpit completed, used some Eduard seat belts, and Airscale decals for the instruments and a couple of placards
  10. Well as there is only a few weeks to go and I would like to get a second build in, I have decided to go with this for my second build Tamiya P-51B OOB But I will be finishing her in these markings, just to do something a little bit different
  11. Looks like another stunner coming from Mish This might just be the push I need to get one of the ones I have out and start
  12. If you want to use a Vallejo color there is the Model Air 71010 its there US Interior Green and its not a bad color
  13. The Tamiya cockpit colour out of the bottle is there RAF cockpit colour, Gunze H58 is one of the best US cockpit colours straight from the bottle, Don't try and match the Eduard colours they are totally wrong, I think they must have someone who is colour blind working for them sometimes You do not have to use all the parts from the PE set, I normally only use the seat belts and instrument panel, if you wish to use the other parts from the PE set you could always re-paint them the correct colour
  14. Very nice work Ray you have done your self proud on this one
  15. Hi Hurry Just found your build of a P-51D 5NA one of the 800 build at the Inglewood plant I have notice a couple of visual discrepancies with your model 1. The wing tip navigation lights the colours should be RED on the left wing and GREEN on the Right not as you have done with the RED on the Right wing and GREEN on the Left wing 2. USAAC squadron code lettering for the right hand side of the aircraft would read looking at the aircraft from the side Z-QP not QP-Z the latter was the British way of laying out squardon code letters Apart from these few thing very nice effort
  16. Great work there Mish you have done a great job with the foil
  17. Great build and finish Lloyd, that scheme is rocking
  18. Great idea no one else is doing a restored Modern Warbird this will look cool clean and shiny Where have you been able to source the small RR decals on the side cowling or are you having them made, also don,t forget to change out the props to cuff-less type
