  1. Well I will be adding this one to my build list, I have had the decals for this one ever since I got back into modeling about 4 years ago Its only now I think and hope my skills are good enough to do this model justice
  2. Don Mish has put the wrong profile up, Passion Wagon did not have a fillet I have spoken to Mish and she will be changing the profile
  3. Could not resist this one when I saw the decals so will add this to the build list to make it number three on the Mustangs
  4. Thought I would balance things out with the other two builds I will be doing with a Spitfire or Two First one will be a Spitfire Mk Vb from the 31st FG flown by Lt Roland Wooten The second one will be another Spitfire Mk Vb from the 4th FG flown by Maj Leroy Gover Both of these will have Eduard Zoom sets
  5. This will be one of my entries for this Group Build Kit and bits on order
  6. This will be one of my entries to this group build Kit and bits on order Now looking through my Decals for this aircraft, I found I also had the decals to do her before she became Geronimo, still flown by the same pilot So to do something a little different I am going to do the before and after in the same build thread
  7. Time for another update Future is on, Decals on (these are from Bison), just letting everything dry now and then it will be ready to start the weathering

  12. Hi Luigi Found these for you hope it helps http://www.mafva.net/other%20pages/Starmer%20camo.htm http://www.armouredacorn.com/Refs-%20Thumb...e%20Desert).pdf
  13. Very nice build, Just one little ponit for the next one, the paper drop tanks were only every used once, so they would not have any fuel stains
  14. Ilan, if you are doing LOU IV which was a P-51D-5NA you need to remove the tail fillet as this aircraft never had it fitted as it was shot down a few weeks after this photo was taken Also who's decals are you using if its the kits one they are wrong for LOU IV, as they do include the name Athelene for the other side of the engine cowling, you would need to get the Eagle Cal decals which are correct The aircraft flying with it is also a P-51D-5NA which has had the tail fillet retro fitted, if you want to do a 361st aircraft you could always do E2-S
  15. Well the primer is on and you can still see the resin decal cast marks, I think they have workd very nice
  16. These are the casting marks/numbers They are resin water slide decals from Archer

  19. This one is coming together rather nice this is where I am up to after today's work Brass wire grab handles, resin casting marks and numbers
  20. Well this is today's work, just added some weld detail that was missing from around the engine covers, Mr Surfacer to blend in the turret joint and the give a little more texture to the transmission cover
