  1. Quick question, you can buy LEDS that already flash, so why do you need a circuit board when lighting kits. I didn't use one on my 1/350th Klingon kit and all the required less flash no problem.
  2. On closer examination of the " decal" sheet I have discovered that they are not in fact decals but stickers! No use to man or beast as they will not conform to the instrument panel. They were advertised and sold on E--Y as decals so please beware if you see these advertised. They are NOT decals.
  3. I recently bought a set of hobby - tec instruments decals in 1/48th scale for Spitfires and Hurricanes. When I have tried to use them it doesn't matter how long I leave the decal to soak, it will not come awau from the backing sheet. Has anyone else had this problem, or is there a special way to deal withese decals ?. This is the first time I have had a problem like this and having already ruined 2 decals I am reluctant to have a third go.
  4. TB1 & TB4 ok, the others are far too boxy. Why oh why change a classic just for the sake of change ?
  5. Looks good so far, have you seen this site, http://www.projectdalek.co.uk/ all the Dalek information you could wish for.
  6. My son bought me issue 1 with the Enterprise D. Not a bad model actualy but having seen issue 2 I won't be buying any more. The Doctor Who mags are even worse the quality of the figures is quite appaling. My local newsagent and it is a large one, is not stocking any of these magazines other than those people have ordered in advance. Did anyone buy the Batman vehicle collection ? If so what were they like ?.
  7. If anyone wants to build an acuurate, large scale Spitfire, they are better off buying the Bryan Taylor radio controlled Spitfire plans. It builds into a very accurate 64'' span model of a mk 1 (he produces other mk's as well). You can build it as a static model and I recon today would cost about £200 in wood and parts.
  8. I built one of these years ago. Probably the most accurate Dalek kit ever produced. Not an easy build though and a bit flimsy but good luck.
  9. My son bought me issue 1 with the Enterprise D I have to admit it is a nice model, well cast and painted. Might buy the Enterprises but that will be all.
  10. Have you seen the quality of the castings - very poor in my opinion. The Star Trek ones are much better
  11. Thanks will contact one of the above.
  12. No I believe it was a council in Devon or Cornwall who were afraid that it might upset one of the 16, yes 16, Muslims who lived in the area.
  13. Sorry if this has been asked before but can anyone advise me as to a source of 1/48th scale world war II German swastikas. This silly business of kits no longer having them on their decal sheets is crazy.
