Love the project. If you took the true scale motor and modified the mounting system, will it fit under the bonnet?

Thanks, I associate the Rotols more with the Mk.II's. So, I will go with the kit prop and spinner.

I am going to make the Tamiya 1/48 Spitfire as Dundas' R6690 using the Aeromaster decals. I have seen some artistic depictions of the aircraft with the Rotol spinner and prop. However, I have not located a photo of the plane. Is there a photo. I would like to confirm the prop type and exhaust type. I have the Ultracast Rotol prop if this is the case.

I am building a Tamiya 1/48 R6690 as flown by Dundas, (Aeromaster decals.) I have various depictions of the aircraft showing Rotal propeller, but it is stated to be a Mk.I. What is the correct prop and did this aircraft have the fishtail exhausts? I have the Ultracast Rotol prop, so I hope the depictions are correct.
