I must agree Jörgen's comments. I don't believe that decals will make correct shade and will look bit odd.

Even that I know that I am wrong, I hope most of these will be built. I have 300 SLR #722, Porsche 908/03 and Aston Martin DBR1. Target is build those in next years. -

This year we will see NASCAR in LeMans. I think last visit was late 70's need to check properly. Link to Forbes article.

@Andreas.R Do you plan also detailed engine? I have been thinking this in my side. Of course 3D printing is option in this area or maybe making resin copy from 308/328/288 engine block. Then next thing is engine cover. Italeri is so heavy that it just don't look right. Then maybe vacuforming is option again.

I must agree with others that this is good first build and these old kit's are not easy ones. I recommend next to try to look more modern kit then you can concentrate more building a kit. But be careful when selecting a kit in some boxes there are very old kits. And don't be afraid to ask. In this forum you usually get good advices.
