So now museums are going to be sworn to secrecy and have to close entire hangars for the day for MIAirfix can do their thing for the day. One day they are going to fool us all by doing more than one aircraft in a hangar. PM

think of what needs replacement from the Frog 1/72 list ..... Baltimore / Maryland Beaufort Barracuda (oh this would be nice) Skua / Roc Tempest V Scimitar Whirlwind H Boston / Havoc Mirage III / VF Venom Lysander F4U Hind (ish) (going way back) Sea Venom Bearcat Meteor F.8 Fokker D.21 something Italian WWII something Russian WWII and the obvious Javelin and Sea Vixen or think of what needs replacement from the Matchbox line in 1/72 ... Lysander F4U Mirage III V Tempest V Alpha Jet Fury Skyhawk Mystere IV Walrus and now for something completely different - how about an Alouette II, MiG-19, MiG-17 even a Do27 to be really different (used by 8 European militaries, Israel and a dozen others) Think of what would sell - not what you want.... and you will closer to the mark.... While sort of sticking to this policy, the research into topics (keeping it to 1/72 aircraft) was already done by Frog years ago. To come up with a wish list that would make most of us water just look at what Frog did that has not been better (by mainstream)since .... ... or even what was planned before the demise... Barracuda Beaufort Firefly (all sorts) Lysander Oxford Proctor Meteor F.8 Mirage III/V Sea Vixen Skua/Roc Baltimore/Maryland Single seat Vampire (with the transparent band on the nose for a change!) some types from across the channel French, Italian .... Soviet? PM and maybe early Wessex, Whirlwind ... PM

Patrick Martin replied to tonyot's topic in Aircraft Cold War
But what gave you the impression they were foreign? - Language? Was it a Lockheed T-Bird or a Canadair - there are differences..... and could they do more than one aircraft in the day. What else may have been ready to tow into the scanning spot? PM -
