  1. Nice one. Great kit, really well done. How did you find the ladders for fitting? I found they were the worst part of the kit. Thanks for sharing Dick
  2. Another finished. This is the ZM 4-D Phantom. OOB except for the FOD covers by Res Kit. It's a great kit and well worth the expense. Markings are for 8TFW/497TFS. Ubon AB. Thailand 1971. Anyway on to the pics. Please feel free to comment etc. Thanks for looking. Dick
  3. Latest off the bench is the venerable Hasegawa F-8E Crusader. This rendition is the Hobby 2000 one. OOB. Markings for VMF-235 "Death Angles" DaNang Sept. 1966. No problems what so ever. The decals were lovely to use. The only down side (literally is the wing is not totally square with the fuselage when looked at head on. So we don't . Any way on to the pics. Please feel free to comment etc. Thanks for looking Dick
  4. ^^^^ That's not funny........... it's soooooo true though. Together with 90% of what's in the garage.
  5. Many thanks for your kind comments and likes. Very much appreciated. Dick
  6. Latest off the bench is the Kinetic CF-5d Freedom Fighter. In the markings of 419 Squadron, CAF 1983. Not Kinetics best kit but workable. The decal sheet is a thing of beauty as there are so many options. Most of which are not on the instructions. It's Kinetic, so instructions = mine field. Less said the better. Any way it's colourful and stands out. what more can you ask. On to the pic's. Please feel free to comment etc. Thanks for looking Dick
  7. East Kent Scale Modellers also in attendance.
  8. Any way. There are these remnants of Hurricanes found in a forest in the Ukraine. Hopefully more information will come to light. Dick
  9. I think for exercise purposes. (Don't quote me)🙃
  10. Great news. However the 807 Squadron camouflage is wrong as it's meant to be extra dark sea grey, slate grey over sky. The photo they used for reference has lost the demarcation due to the filter used on the lens at the time. Before any one asks. My late father was on this cruise as an airframe fitter with 807 and I had many discussions about the camouflage of the squadron aircraft with him over the years. There are other photos of the squadron at the same time available to support this. Dick
  11. Also how many will eventually become airworthy?
  12. Interesting find, and rare as well. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-65955365 Dick
  13. Think it might still be all up in the air.
  14. Many thanks for your kind comments and likes. Very much appreciated. Dick
  15. Something a little different. This is the Special Hobby kit of the Siebel in the markings of NSGr.4, Balice Airfield, Poland autumn 1944. Not the easiest of kits. If you had said it was a Classic Airframes kit I would have believed you. It's an interesting subject to say the least and yes that is a very big gun for a mid upper turret. Any way on to the pic's. Please feel free to comment etc. Thanks for looking Dick
  16. Thanks for the info. That will teach me to follow word for word Hobby Boss instructions. Dick
  17. Like the one I used as a punctuation example while teaching. Apply the correct punctuation. Whats that in the road a head
  18. I've seen better. Microscopes are banned when looking at it
  19. The wife keeps going on about the house should be well insulated. I'm doing my best. Dick
