Yet another one finished. This time the Special Hobby (it's an early effort so not that special ) DFS glider' What can I say?? It went together. Surprisingly no real problems and it looks like a DFS glider. Yes I know the joke....it's a sale plane. I got it on interest free building etc. Anyway on to the pic's. Another off the bench is the new Arma Hobbies Hurricane. What a lovely kit and so full of detail. The only down side I found were the decals that for me were a little too brittle so they were relaced with Xtra decals. The attention to detail is fantastic but again for me the riveting in the upper wings while being exquisite was a pain when decaling. Would I make another ...........................Oh YES. Going on from above. A good lubricant for cutting plastic is water believe it or not. However the sort of drilling we do in plastic is more of a case that the drill bit is rotated by hand rather by machine. so heat should be minimal. Dick
