  1. We're struggling with browser compatibility issues with the new format, so updates will be more intermittent until we resolve them.

The Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble event on 15th October has sold out and looks set to be a good event for buyers.

New Avro Saturday event added to our list for 19th November.

As always full details on our website!

  2. Some museum news updates to make people aware of: Contract awarded for installation of new waste treatment & site infrastructure project – details in here! Details of Vulcan Rover APU run on 20th September added to our website & Indoor Aeroboot spaces nearly sold out - information on both topics in here!
  3. Pleased to report a recent Revell restock in the NAM Shop, with Airfix deliveries expected at any time http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/Museum-Shop Also, great to report that following recent twitter activity all of our stock of Harrier Boys books in the NAM shop have now been signed by the author, who lives in Newark!
  4. Don’t let the downpours discourage you from a day out of aviation; lots to see indoors here in a damp Nottinghamshire!
  5. Some details of possible access issues due to an event near the museum in the coming days have been added to our website. It’s a Japanese Auto Extravaganza that takes place on the Showground from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th September 2016
  6. An Indoor Aeroboot / Aerojumble update has just been added to the museum website – 32 of 45 tables that are available for the next event on 15th October have now allocated . Looks set to be a good one!! #Aeroboot #Aerojumble
  7. Glad that you at least managed one of the Jaguar cockpits at the weekend - will post details of future events, as and when they're released!
  8. Glad that you enjoyed the event - did you make it into the Jaguar as well? In the morning we had sufficient volunteer to also open theT2A!
  9. It certainly is! Cockpit openers already gathering for today's 'Foreign' session that will feature our Viggen, Draken, MiGs and lots more!!
  10. Notification just through that our BBMF flypast for today has been cancelled.
  11. See you tomorrow - lots to see inside if the weather turns!
  12. Looking at the weekend weather forecast for this event we thought that it would be worth a quick reminder that a lot of our aircraft are displayed in the dry inside two Aircraft Display Halls. N.B. wet weather gear may be required to move between buildings!
  13. We look forward to welcoming you all! Sunday's weather outlook seems to be the most promising, but at least with two display hangars housing more than 50 aircraft we can occupy lots of visitors in the dry! http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/under-cover_displays
  14. That's our pleasure and we hope that you're able to visit. This link also provides some details about our normal open cockpit offer http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/NAM_open_cockpits
  15. Sunday seems to be the best day to achieve that; but please note that the GR1 cockpit from XX753 provides the access opportunity; while the T2A - XX829 is a viewing only option this weekend (weather dependant) - details in here http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/Fleet_Foreign_03
