  2. ah, you mean the engine shot? I was totting up the cylinders.... 0% finance anyone??
  3. I just got Windsock 25 (5) There is an interview with Peter Jackson and team and images of the new kits, ready in boxes. Certainly the RE8 and Roland. They have been listening to the forums and the wishlist and have tried to reduce some of our customs charges. And the next kit? Its an Eindecker!
  4. Tsk... such over the top weathering.... Interesting the tail number outline looks pale blue. I thought it was white, or is it an artefact?
  5. Here we are... " of Finnish a/c only HC 451,455,456 and 462 had fabric wings" p 7 suomen 25 Hurricane I think they all had the early straight aerial mast and most had the flat bottomed armoured windscreen that wasnt faired in like the very earliest Hurris, so a mixed picture of early modifications
  6. I think only a couple were rag wingers. I have the serials in a suomen historia book somewhere. I have done 452 and can confirm its a metal winger with a DH prop
  7. Its called a Hakristi isnt it, not a swastika? I thought the RAF dispute the Finns having the first air force as it was a militia or a branch of the gendarmerie I think... Anyone know?
  8. Wings of silver, FWIW has 5 profiles with no underwing serials. Any help?
  9. I'll have a look in "Silver Wings" as there are Snipe profiles in there..
  10. Its www.largescaleplanes.com A friendly bunch dedicated to 1/32 and above, with a small WW1 posse! eg; http://forum.largescaleplanes.com/index.ph...mp;hl=dh2+roden
  11. Fantastic! lovely work. How did you do the brass prop tips? Would you consider posting this on large scale planes too? The lads there love stuff like this.
  12. it depends how far you want to go, but the seat, canopy and tailplanes are wrong. Canopy cant be fixed, but I have the MDC seat and tailplanes and they are good. The resin cowling replacement is too short and identical in shape to the kit, so don't bother with that. Of course, the decals are pants too, thats a given!
  13. Excellent hoax. Full of wit and imagination. Dildo Newfoundland?
  14. I think Trumpeter is the way to go.
  15. Glenn those are wonderful. I have never seen those kits built. The chaps on www.largescaleplanes.com would love to see them. Would you like to post them there too?
  16. Which is this new range referred to in Windsock Rowan, is it the new ones Squadron are doing, like the Albatros D2 or that restoration company in NZ?
  17. GMC number please? Panel line reading is not strictly core medical school curriculum. How many years of postgrad panel reading are there on your CV? Trust me I'm a doctor? Does this Lightning have NICE approval
  18. Thank goodness for the highly trained over paid golf playing consultants, PICU team and their kit....Oh and the taxi drivers (admittedly bad weather) AND the PR team what publicised the taxi. I sure hope those consultants were back on the golf course the next day, and not working.....
  19. Dont know when of course..... http://www.sonicmodel.com/photo.htm?url=ht...s/23_126704.jpg

  22. dont use meths FFS whatever you do! Mines now in the bin! Now need an Iwata when I have some cash spare!
  23. Namibia was South west Africa in 1983, a South African "colony" with its own bush war on the Angolan border. How about some Beninese Spitfires on PR over their border? I think the Ghanaians bought all the Australian Mosquitos in 1960 didn't they.....OOOhhhhh Angola was full of Cubans too. Did they sell Sea Furies to Guinea?
