I think it is the same kit @Valkyrie, the plastic looks similar - and yes, Airfix have some good kits now they are using CAD in the development. The Fw190 was good, I flew it occasionally in IL2 racing (wish I could find my skins for that!), though the late La5 and La7s were better racers.

What filler are you using? I use Milliput, which, if applied with water can be smoothed on and wiped down wet - so rarely needs sanding. It sometimes needs a reapplication if theres shrinkage (rare).

Night Reaper? IMO That had attractive nose art. There is/was a profile of Night Reaper with red oxide patches, think it was in Profile Publications Theres a scan on this link https://www.modelflying.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=134491 p.s. You may have to zoom in to spot the patches.
