  1. Very nice job Martin, I bet those props took a while to paint!. Lovely model. Cheers, Andy
  2. That's great - good to see the matching stand - it works really well. I have this decal sheet and same kit in my stash too - perhaps it's time to make a start! Cheers, Andy
  3. That's a great scheme Bill! - makes it look fast on the ground - what a fantastic aircraft. You've done a great job - I bet the intake cones were a bit fiddly!. Cheers, Andy
  4. Very nice! - That's a great looking C133 you have made there. Makes you realise how big the aircraft is! Cheers, Andy
  5. Very nice indeed - wonderful livery. I've yet to experience an EE kit; you have done a wonderful job with this one. Cheers, Andy
  6. Sad news indeed. One of the true stalwarts of the hobby. Tailpiece was always the first page I used to read each month. His stories about Hunters were always fascinating. RIP. Andy
  7. Great work, very impressive!. At the other end of the scale spectrum for me but I do admire projects like this. Is that a table tennis ball repurposed for the gimbal mounted nose camera? I'm always amazed at how inventive model makers can be! Cheers, Andy
  8. Lovely collection, nice paintwork too. Revell do some nice 144th subjects. Cheers, Andy
  9. Nice one Dave, it’s good to see a Concorde in a scheme that was originally suggested for the aircraft, but overtaken by events at the time!. Always looks so good with wheels up and straight nose, difficult to believe the design is so old now, it still looks futuristic to me!
  10. Lovely model, great finish. I recall seeing these on their STOL approaches with everything down - great aeroplane! Cheers, Andy
  11. Very nice! What white paint did you use?, the finish looks great with just the right level of reflection. Very elegant. Cheers, Andy
  12. Very nice!. The oil stains around the engine nacelles looks really good. Cheers, Andy
  13. Good stuff - still looks futuristic even now and looks fast even when it's not moving! Cheers, Andy
  14. Lovely model - very well done!. I always thought a "What If" Concorde in BEA Red Square colours would be interesting, with the red wing panels. There probably wouldn't have been time to get to supersonic speeds with the short haul routes BEA had but it would have been an interesting scheme. Cheers, Andy
  15. Is SNJ Spray Metal still available? I found it to be really effective on larger areas, and the polishing powder allowed you to end up with a different finish on different panels. I always sprayed it (I guess the clue is in the name!), never tried brushing other than for tiny touch up areas. I used it many years ago on a C130 and a Super Guppy and it looked good on both of them. It would certainly look good on a DC10!. I don’t recall seeing it recently though, unless it’s changed name? Cheers, Andy
  16. Brilliant 380 Matt. That's a lot of area on a tail for all sorts of what-ifs! Lovely model - I bet it's taking up quite a bit of space! Cheers, Andy
  17. Very nice Viscount Julian, great paint job!. Very elegant. If only modern airliners had such big windows these days! Cheers, Andy
  18. Well, the wings still look great, no matter how it was achieved - very nice!
  19. Very nice model Ray. It looks like you had some interesting challenges with masking on the wings and it’s come out very well! Brilliant!. Cheers, Andy
  20. Very nice Super Caravelle Einar, and well done with the cross - kitting to get this done, that’s always a challenge! I like the window and cabin decals, very realistic. Very elegant aeroplane. Cheers, Andy
  21. Looking good! It’s nice to see a classic 737 build. Following this one with interest! Cheers, Andy
  22. Good thing about PVA is that you could always (carefully) remove it if it doesn’t go right first time. Good luck! Cheers, Andy
  23. Very nice! Great paint finish and the cockpit decals look amazing - very 3D! Well done! Cheers, Andy
  24. Brilliant job - well done to get the wing fold too! Excellent finish 👍 Cheers, Andy
  25. Lovely job, great paint finish - what a beautiful aeroplane!. I had read somewhere about the dihedral needing adjusting on this kit, but either way your model looks great! I can just imagine the sound of the 4 big radials turning. They knew how to design good looking aeroplanes back then. I wonder if Revell will re- release this kit again? Cheers, Andy
