  3. [/url] Could somebody please enlighten me as to the purpose of this pod included in Revell's F-4E kit?
  4. Decals are everything stencils are just all the little 'no step' markings etc. So called as they are applied to real aircraft with....... stencils.
  5. I have glued together the same from the 'man in space' set. Going to follow this and hopefull get round to painting it at some point!
  6. Worth keeping a couple of old ones handy? Gawd knows we all hang onto a lotta other cr-p thats handy. bit annoying though.

  8. Was there today and despite seeing numerous images in the media nothing prepares you for the sight of all those poppies
  9. Building a revel f-4e at the min and its a good kit. The fitnis good and the surface detail restrained. I do fancy the tamiya F-4c for the internal detail but the saving in the revell kit makes the purchase of some FOD covers and some cockpit etch well worth it.
  10. Love the one of the Evo cocking its back wheel. Great shot.
  11. Built 3 of the Lotus's and nothing but praise. Pretty much a Tamiya kit in all but name.
  12. Very tidy! May I ask where did you get the transparencies for the chin pods?
  13. I am just gluing one of these together, no paint, and it is easily the best £22 worth out there.
  14. I went last year and it's soooooo much cooler than that. The noise, the noise!

  16. Thanks Edgar thats very helpfull. Will keep digging!
  17. Thanks for the reply gents, I hadn't seen H mentioned yet but I will add it to the options.
  18. Hello I'm trying to discover the markings of two Spitfire's from 603 sqn that were involved in the downing of a Ju88 on 16th Oct 1939 off the coast of Edinburgh. I know one of them was L1070 XT-A (stickleback) flown by Pat Gifford but I can only find conflicting info on the other two members of red section that day. I have also seen mentioned that most of the aircraft were named after home towns etc. Also just to really stir the pot I have assumed that they were painted aluminium underneath with black/white wings and aluminium ailerons? Thanks in advance
  19. Looks awesome, give it five years.........
