    Hello all here is my build of the above finished with Humbrol 15 from a rattle can. A nice build all in with good fit all round but a serious modeller may be tempted to paint the stripes. The decals are nice and opaque and react well to set/sol but do take some time to get sorted.

    Oh and the decals were very prone to becoming a twisted unusable mess.

    I built one a few weeks back and on the whole I liked it. The only issue I had was the fit of the wings which could have been from a different kit altogether. I'm no expert but it certainly looked right to me.

    Grand Prix Legends can be upgraded to a fantastic looking game with all the available freeware upgrades. All the season's from '65 to '69 are available. Great looking build too!

    Thanks Julian, you just cost me 50 quid! Had um'd & er'd about this one but then your review showed the bunny markings were included and I had to get it. Going to use it to do a 72sqn bird and then use my academy boxing to do Vandy one.

    I think they may fall fouls of EU law much like their sprays did a few years previous and more recently their glues.

    I am short a 173 too. Looks like the have used the same clear moulding as the IDS version.

    Thanks mate, always thought revell sheets were a bif of a let down when compared to their kits but they seem to be updating them for the new releases so here's hoping!

    This is about to be my second model in a week too! First was a matchbox B-17G. This kit is often rubbished but I thought the transparencies were excellent and the decals are great too.
