First post! woohoo!
...and I'll kick off with what I suspect is an oldie repeat....
Basically, I'm building a Revell Hunter 1:32, but would really like to rig it out as model XE531 - the product tester rig (hideous green + white colour scheme). My father-in-law was chief pilot for the fly-by-wire trials, and across a 20yr career, this was the "bird" he enjoyed flying the most. So I figured a wee memento would be nice!
However, there's a snag - as you all know the Revell is single seater...but "old greenie" is a two seater. Before you ask...I knew he flew hunters, so figured it was the "production" kit (which he did), but only found out he actually preferred "old greenie" after I'd bought & half-built the kit. Doh!
Echelon apparently did/was going to do a 2 seater conversion kit for the 1:32, but that's taken on almost mythical availability...does anyone else do them?
