  2. just seen this one Ray. Great job and happy to say, your undercarage is at the right angle
  3. great job. canopy looks superb, as does the rest of the build
  4. Thank you for the positive posts. The customer I built it for is very happy with it and as far as I'm concerned, that's all that matters
  5. Just finished the build this week. I used the canopy and gear legs from the Heritage Aviation kit, Quickboost wheels and exauhsts, Aeroscale decals for the markings and custom decals for the prop:
  6. Great job. hold on a minute that's 1/72? superb job
  7. thanks for all the positive feedback, took some more pics :
  8. I try and use life colour whenever possible for camo or all over coats of colour. Personally, I find it produces a very fine finish, which is why it can be a little difficult to use due to its thin consistency. I use their own brand thinner and spray around 10 PSI with about a 30/70 thinner/paint ratio
  9. Great job , far better than my first attempt! a book that really helped me when I first got back into the hobby was 'Modelling tanks and military vehicles' by Sheperd Paine. You can pick it up second hand for around £15 on amazon and is great for learning about weathering and presenting your models
  10. Afew provisional pics of my M51. Enjoyed every aspect of this project. Build article should be in AFV modeller some point this year:
