  1. Do you want to see Hornet? Here it is - http://www.modelarovo.cz/de-havilland-dh-103-hornet-azmodel-1-72/
  2. Gentlemen, Hornet is ready, distribution starts on Monday... First two boxes - F. 1 and PR. 2
  3. Andrew S. - unfortunately not this year thanks to insufficient capacity at the lould makers. A lot of another projects and - thanks to COVID and the fact that all actions are cancelled in Czech republic, KP/AZ decided to do kits with export potential. Big chance for Aero 304 is 2021.
  4. Telling truth I can not answer now. Because I do not know.
  5. Not a secret, that Buchon is planned for 2021, if everything goes well...
  6. In general, new G-10 (WNW) have new fuselage, as the old one had some problems with cockpit fit. We also have done some shape refinements. The rest can be found in the answer of MikeR just above.
  7. October? Boxes are at the printers, decals also, one sprue is finished and moulded, the second one at the mould maker...., I expect it at the start of September.
  8. Rabbit Leader - I do not know that guy from Italeri. But I think that my descriptions are time to time like from Monty Pythons... 🙂 mike romeo - there is a habit in KP/AZ, that one designer is working on the whole line of boxes of the type. So I have got Emils, the new line of Bf 109, coming in September. The others are - one helicopter, one sport aircraft and two fighters. Until the end of 2020. Unfortunately I can not tell more today, But I will give you info in time.
  9. Hi gentlemen, as I was moved to "project 109" and one another project, I can not tell what reference was used.
  10. 352nd Fighter Group - Hornets are in the next batch of new kits. One month approximately.
  11. wamwig - 1/72 absolutely not. Sorry. Technologically above our possibilities of today...
  12. Jazzie - I have had some detailed looks at tartan tail and I am sure it was done the way you wrote.... Gentlemen, we have got the first series production Triplanes, look very nice. We will start to distribute this Friday, stay tuned... I will post some test build pictures when we have built that little gem.
  13. Dutchplanes - yes, you are right. We are commercial company. Somebody here believe, that this project will bring money. As I said, it is a try. This new line is not my cup of tea, really. I am collecting snap-fit kits you can buy on board of airliners (when carriers are flying), but these are usually in 1/200 scale. Die cast Herpa kits seems to me a little bit expensive. Maybe collectors will buy these new kits to enrich their collections. When discussing the line, I told my opinion, that collectors are not modelers and it is not easy to give them construction kit as they collect but not build the kits. But there was very popular line of Dubena/SiKu kits in 1/250 scale. Yes, history, but, who knows. New projects - do not be afraid, we will continue in our normal lines..., La-5F is coming in two new boxings, DH Hornet is ready, Bf 109E will come in September, there are two more WWII fighters on the table, Bf 109G-10/14 with revised fuselage is coming.... And more and more. Yes, also Cessnas...
  14. Jazzie - you have hit in all mentioned... 🙂 Petr asked me to create that tartan tails...., I am not so much happy as decal designer. What I know, that line is planned to be a good supplement to Herpa die casts in the same scale. It is a try. And - to 1/144 scale of the same subjects - did you notice that SAABs are 3D designed...? 🙂 But I did not tell no word about.
  15. Something a bit different gents... http://www.modelarovo.cz/nova-linie-modelu-v-kovozavodech-prostejov-dopravaky-1-250/
  16. SABREKITS Hampden is using existing items, decals from the kit (3 variants of markings) and AVALON sheet (6 variants). Unfortunately above mentioned A/C is not included. Spitfire Tr. 9 is on the way, that boxing with Spit covered with popeye flowers.
  17. gavingav - there is only some hundred sets left in the stock... so, re-edition is not possible, but whole rest of stock was bought by a new company Sabrekits, specialised in collectors series of 100 kits of various subjects. Their release will include Valom Hampden with AZ clear parts, two decals sheets - AZ and Avalon, 9 decal options in total and canopy masks. I will give you more information at the moment they start their activities. mike romeo - I think that Chris from SAM magazine will inform you very early about the master of the kit... 🙂
  18. Dutchplanes - we hope that line of Cessnas and Aero 304 will be released this year. Telling truth, big portion of capacity is consumed by the project L-29 Delfin in 1/32 scale.
  19. Homebee - missing gun - is a mistake. We asked to make boxarts and Carlos took the photo without the gun as a base. And we did not notice. Sorry. Anyway - can you answer me - is this fact so serious that the kit is not possible to build? No discussion about D and V version - yes, you are right but - name me visible differencies between these two versions. There is practically no one. In fact, Czech version was Mi-35.... And, yes, Italeri kit has some issues. Our rebox is for children, we understand that Zvezda kit is better, but we target another customer group. Hope this explanation is big enough. I wish you pleasant weekend gentlemen. Jan
  20. The same way - looking at ease of assembly - we used with our new Sopwith Triplane and it seems that to install three wings wil be very easy assembly.
  21. e8n2 - yes, Swallow is shoet run kit, and this technology brings some limitations of course. We have to choose the technology of the moulds according to the expected sales. But do not be afraid of building the Swallow, it is pretty nice kit and there are no major problems during the build. It is not a nightmare like BH-9.... The next HQT kit is Messerschmitt Bf 109E, which is on the way...
  22. Richard Kiss - MiG-19PM is not planned for this year, there is free production window. We have June in calendar, but company is in November today when looking at work schedule. 19PM will be complex project and we are close to Messerschmitt Bf 109E line, which will make us very busy. Another HQT project is Lavochkin La-5, also very complex. We will start to distribute La-5F version in a few days and La-5FN is waiting. I am not counting short run projects.... The next year we expect 19P/PM. But, there are two more WWII aircraft in the pipeline from "mainstream" category, so.... 🙂 Working on one rebox now, see the link - http://www.modelarovo.cz/suchoj-su-22m4-1-72-kovozavody-prostejov/
  23. e8n2 - not easy reading... Well I am here to discuss with you, let us discuss that horrible kit of BH-9... Test builds - we are everytime doing the test builds, even three, one is done by Petr Muzikant, the second by Petr Safra, our distribution manager and the last by me... These builds did not discover the fit problems you are writing about. The complete build, with no paints applied, took some 20 minutes. Here is the link to the test build report - http://www.modelarovo.cz/avia-bh-11-kp-172-dily-a-zkusebni-sestaveni/ I know, that building this kit needs some skills and careful assembling. But I think that some percentage of the problems you had was based on the fact that your skills did not meet the kit needs. I am not saying that you are not clever big enough please, just saying that kit of BH-9 is not your cup of tea, it can happen time to time, for me it is Fi 156 by Heller. It is buildable, some examples are here - http://www.modelarovo.cz/kolekce-bosek-1-72-kp/ http://www.modelarovo.cz/avia-bh-11-172-kp-petr-muzikant/ http://www.modelarovo.cz/avia-bh-9-kp-1-72-dusan-vrazel/ To the rest of probs now - wrong colour number - it is simply wrong typing. Wrong decal numbers in the instructions - I had to look into instructions and you are right - numbers are another on the decal sheet and in instructions. It is my personal mistake with no excuse. I am very sorry for that. Quality of decals, problems with handling - we know about this problem, we were trying to ask the change of the technology with our printer and in the end we changed decal technology at all. From the point of view of producer is Bh-9 history but with the feedback to our the next kits. We are trying to reach better quality with every our new kit. Try Swallow, which is fine little aircraft and I did not notice any building problem.
