  1. They were still in use and had some additional airframes as of 2014. There's some more information about the choice of airframe for the mission in "Relentless Strike" by Sean Naylor.
  2. I enjoyed it although I must confess to a lump in my throat when they were scattering the ashes .
  3. I would strongly suspect it will be the Beaufort MkI kit https://icm.com.ua/aviation/bristol-beaufort-mk-i/ included will be the sprues from this kit https://icm.com.ua/aviation/wwii-british-aircraft-armament/
  4. Please add me to the list.
  5. I'd suggest keeping an eye on Plaza Japan. i got mine from there and quite reasonably priced. It's Out of stock at the moment but you can register interest.
  6. It was only released in Japan last month so probably not reached the UK yet.
  7. I'm guessing it's a rebox of this one https://www.scalemates.com/kits/italeri-2823-f-a-18f-super-hornet--1443114
  8. The Aerobonus pilots are using the GRU-7 ejection seat which was fitted to the F-14A&B . The F-14D uses the NACES ejection seat. Aerobonus have an F/A-18E/F pilot which would fit the bill if you used a pair of them.
  9. Great work, it looks all set to go on a low level run over Cuba.
  10. My favourite Russian aircraft, nicely done.
  11. I'm reading "Bloody Sixteen" by Peter Fey which is the story of USS Oriskany and Air Wing 16 during the Vietnam War.
  12. Next release is the 1/48 Sea Hurricane IIc with 3D printed parts for arrestor hook assembly. I'll let @Homebee add all the pictures as he's much better at it than me 😁
  13. The issue of Liberator noses and turrets is truly a rabbit hole.
  14. I don't think they've been released yet. Here in the UK, only the -30RE basic and -25RE basic/advanced have been released.
  15. I think that's a bit of an exaggeration, in the UK the price difference between Academy and GWH A-10s is approximately £50. The Academy kit does not require £50 of aftermarket, the only items actually needed are intakes and anything else is a "nice to have".
  16. According to a post from Tiger Hobbies, the UK RRP will be £89.99
  17. 3D-Chute Expert offer a range of 3D printed F-16 vertical tails in 1/48. They're on Facebook https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2F3d-chute-expert.myshopify.com%2F%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3bWDuzFzdmQLl7DDU3sX1sBz1u8UOpubwydVHniFnWD-2R9YDtlzMIWps&h=AT3qIf65eA08zARDI_3qarShcv7w_A0VyR6MuOqcfyiF0UzajbbeBEOLHlO5uln55MaFbDwUBJ86ElW5pBywaGU3WVc_z_xu2xfi8g2b8IGgziCm2eQsFVwepBGf5xh7mMaB6Q
  18. KI-K48146 The Lone Star Gunfighters boxing should be available from the Luckymodel UK warehouse in April according to a message I received from Kinetic. Without cross kitting from the F-16D Block30/40/50 , it's the only release so far to give the GE engine/MCID single seat option out of the box.
