  1. I got mine at Hannants warehouse yesterday. Started assembling today and i'm missing sprue K which there are 2 of them. Has anyone else actually checked the sprues to see if this is just me? Not sure who to ask for the replacement sprues. Hobby Boss direct, Hannants or Creative Models? Regards Selina
  2. Hello Guys, Would like to ask if anyone has any details of colour scheme for Walrus EI-ACC or G-AIZG (operated by 615 sqn RAF) This Aircraft was originally N18 of the Irish Air Corp and is now preserved in the FAA Museum as L2301. Have some pictures of G-AIZG (b&W) and assume she is Silver, but it apprears the engine nacelle is a darker colour and she may carry camouflage on the upper surfaces. Have No information on her as EI-ACC and any information is very welcome. Assume she was silver but did she carry any Aer Lingus titles ?? Also I understand Norway had a civil Walrus ( ex United Whalers) anyone have any info on the colour scheme of her ?? Yes this could be a Decal sheet !! Best regards Selina (For Mel of S&M Decals)
  3. Look i just shop there so i can't be more specific. It is the 1960s version. The owner bought it for the shop so it is a permanent fixture of this very large model shop. He would not pay many 10's of 1000's of pounds for it to not be a permanent fixture!
  4. For those who are fortunate live in East Anglia. At the Snetterton race circuit which probably holds one of the UK's largest model shops covering many hobbies besides plastic kits. There is just been delivered a 1/72 scale USS Enterprise aircraft carrier. Carving took 2 yrs, made in mahogany by Bravo Delta with a complete carrier wings of aircraft and figures. It ways over a ton and cost a small fortune to have made. There is only one other of its kind in the World. So if your in the area, come and have a look.
  5. i think your find these are not now going ahead! That was the latest news. Phil maybe able to give more info.
  6. Tony normally takes the whole range as he drives sales and gives the go ahead on the majority of the decal range. These 3 decal sheets would be needing a re-print and would take about 2 weeks. If you send me a PM i will give you details of where to send your order to.
  7. Hey Chris, Hold out and wait for Mel to do the Ashton next year. It is going to be cheaper and better than the Magna one! I've got 2 pet projects with the Swiss P16 and N-20 coming out for the Swiss Nationals and from the profits of this we will have a go at the Ashton.
  8. look forward to the progress of this kit - bought it at Telford IPMS in 2004 but not started yet. Good luck!
  9. brilliant job - you inspired me to finish mine!
  10. I agree with Darius this is major undertaking with a lot structural support work giving the size of the model. The easy option though a pain is the FM 1/48 Halifax - it is a no brainer to attempt this one despite the price of it. I too was tempted by the vacform Sterling but decided not to do it as it requires a lot of scratchbuilding and advanced skills and the time and patience to see it through. I guess the Halifax is no different. I would personally start on a smaller subject as vacform project before you tackle something as large as a Halifax. I'm not even suure how accurate the kit is either!
  11. UK price for 2 at £9.99 is Free. Regards Selina
  12. it actually make sup into a nice little kit despite the first impression of the kit sprues. 2000 sold is not a bad return on initial appearances.
  13. quite agree too! I shall see if i can start something on this front.
  14. yes can do individual orders. If not in stock. Re-prints take 2 weeks.
