Pz.Kpfw. II Ausf, F Trop Academy 1/35
fittedkitchens replied to Milan Mynar's topic in Work in Progress - Armour
Great work so far. That looks like a really good kit from Academy, I didn't know they'd released a Panzer II. What are the things numbered '8' on the sprue for? (Just below the track sections an jerry cans... are they teeth which have to be added to the track sections?). Thanks. -
Frank Cotton from Hellraiser (Gore)
fittedkitchens replied to Glen10k's topic in Figure Ready for Inspection
Wow, that's great... the sheen on the skull and muscle is gruesomely done.. excellent... -
Couple more pics on the Tamiya site... https://www.tamiya.com/japan/products/35375/index.html This is 'class' / 'stickin' out', as we say here in Belfast, ie 'spiffing'... Will definitely be getting one of these beasts....

These are great. Did you use decals for the eagles and epaulettes or paint them?

Brilliant stuff. I've just checked your WIP thread, all that additional work has definitely paid off.

Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) - Tamiya 1/35
fittedkitchens replied to IanC's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Lovely finish. The soft camo edge / blur is great. -
Tamiya Churchill Mk VIII - 1/35
fittedkitchens replied to Kitchen Modeller's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Cool! The Churchill is just such a weird looking tank, one of my favs. That's a great result you got there, the paintwork and fading is class. The track marks through the grass is a good touch. -
Sturmgeschutz III ausf G - 1/35 (Tamiya 35014) --- [FINISHED]
fittedkitchens replied to witjas4's topic in Panzer III STGB
Brilliant. I love seeing these older Tamiya kits built up ans have been following this one with interest. That's an incredible result, superb piece of modelling. Go on, do the Paratroopers as well!! -
Excellent work so far, the paint job is great. It's a lovely kit, the 1970's Tamiya T-34/Su-122/Su-85 series are great fun builds.

A11, Infantry Tank Mark.I 'Matilda I'
fittedkitchens replied to diablo rsv's topic in Work in Progress - Armour
Resin kits have always seemed a bit daunting, but I'd love to build the Matilda Mark I, so I'll be watching this one with interest... -
USAF Wild Weasel Saab Viggen: FAR Model
fittedkitchens replied to far148's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Like others have said, it looks very convincing in that guise. I admire your patience with all those stencils! -
Excellent work on these. The M51 variant makes the Sherman just look so brutal and powerful. Must get one!

Junkers JU 87B 1/24th Scale Airfix
fittedkitchens replied to olympic1911's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
What a cool beast! That cockpit is amazing. Silly question, but are the masks transparent? I'm just wondering how you manage to align everything to make sure you've got the right placement etc. -
M3 Honey - Airfix - 1/35
fittedkitchens replied to Nenad Ilijic's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
Very nice! like the detail touches such as the cabling for the smoke discargers. Were the stowage rail/rack thingies on the sides from the aftermarket etch set? -
Universal Carrier MK ll
fittedkitchens replied to junobeach's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
That's a lovely little carrier. I like the scrim netting which you've added to the helmets, big improvement. The etch likewise makes a big difference. Though how the devil did you manage to get the driver to fit? Did you leave the front panel off until the end? I tried to add the driver after all was built, but even with his legs sawn off it was a bit awkward. The poor fella! -
Japanese Ho-Ni 75mm SPG
fittedkitchens replied to f matthews's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
That's brilliant. Great idea, great execution. Weirdly, reminds me of the Top Trumps playing cards I had way back in the day, the tank set seemed to feature a load of Aberdeen photos. -
Tamiya 1/35 Matilda - UK, 1942
fittedkitchens replied to IanC's topic in Ready for Inspection - Armour
That looks the business, lovely build. The effects on the mud chutes etc are excellent. Also, I must try that Vallejo colour, good recommendation.
