  1. Wouldn't mind joining this GB. Thanks. It'll most likely be a grey Panzer 38t... wild & crazy, huh?
  2. That looks really well/ There's a lot of fun to be had in building these older kits...
  3. That's a fantastic finish, the camo is ace. And what a cool Matchbox release,
  4. Lovely result there, great work.
  5. Woah, that's going to be some size of model when completed! Good to see this one, I didn't know there was an alternative to the ancient Renwal/Revell 1/32 job.
  6. Lovely work, and such a lot of excellent detail. I wouldn't have the patience! It's also made me realise that I've made a couple of mistakes on my camo tanks... the photo of the hull with the turret off... it makes total sense that there wouldn't be any camo spray under the turret, as they'd hardly remove the turret... but I've been stupidly taking my turrets off to spray the pattern underneat ... d'oh! I'll know next time 😄
  7. Very nice. Great to see an unusual scheme on this little beastie.
  8. Marvellous result there, very good work (I'm building the same model at the minute - it's not a lot of fun 🙄).
  9. Oh, I do like that. That's a great composition, and it's always good to see more casually-dressed crew as opposed to formal top-button done and all webbing correct figures. And a cracking execution of that groovy paint scheme.
  10. That's coming long well. Always good to see something unusual being built, so will be keeping an eye on this beastie.
  11. That's a great eye for detail. as others have commented, the 3D clamps might be less frustrating than trying to bend 9and not lose) micro-etch. As for acrylics, I find that Humbrol acrylics work really well for brush painting of small items, tank wheel rubber, tyres etc... Dark Earth (29) and Tank Grey (67) are both great, but need a couple of drops of water added to whatever you use to get it flowing nicely. easier than tamiya, for example, though I love Tamiya for airbrushing.
  12. Classic kit. I finally got round to building one myself a few years back... enjoy the fun!
  13. Groovy! That's a great camo scheme, it looks really well in that guise. I'm assuming the camo netting is an extra ie not included in kit, aye?
  14. phillip1, that's excellent... how exactly did you get the 'torn'/'punctured' aluminium effect eg on tail plain? Did you just drill a hole and then work the plastic with a sharp blade? I see there's a an outward tearing effect on the port wingtip. I'm guessing the aluminium painting also helped to accentuate the effect of it being ripped. Do you have a photo at all of those areas prior to painting? And Snafu35... lovely work too!
  15. From the Superhobby.co.uk pages, Academy's Brummbar and StuG IV Sd.Kfz.167 both have one-piece 'belt' type tracks. whereas yep the Panzer III J has link & length. I'm a fan of one-piece tracks, as long as they're long enough and have decent detail.
  16. Yes indeed, many thanks Milan. It's clear now that I look again!
  17. Great to see the Beaver being re-released, it's just such a fun kit to build.
