  1. Mrs Hovis won't eat anything with palm oil in it, they make Orang-utans homeless in the collection of it apparently....
  2. Driving down the M2 into Belfast earlier me and Mrs Hovis passed a large grey Airbus on finals into Aldergrove, can anybody confirm if a Voyager visited said Station today? (yesterday now)
  3. 'bout ye big lad!
  4. I think the fact that we'll heavily use the USMC on board our new carriers leans toward using their AAR kit, i.e. Ospreys. We won't need to buy them if we can use the Marines.
  5. Don't forget to re-shape the front of the tailfin, one of the howling inaccuracies I've learned from here.

    F35 giggle

Let the Brits play with it for a while and we'll get it working one way or another!
  7. Another masterclass. *pulls up seat and opens bag of crisps...
  8. Tell her it was a bargain, that's what women say when they spend lots of money.....
  9. I heard rumours that they were just going to turn the serial numbers around: eg. 000AA, 001AA etc. But then I may have dreamt that...
  10. Just finished mine last night believe it or not! Beautiful looking Vixen there mate.
  11. Where would the likes of Monogram/Revell and Italeri stand in that list?
  12. Top canopy tint, if it helps....
  13. Another interesting titbit about this kit, the Ferguson TE20 tractor was the arguably the first ever Airfix model kit. Harry Ferguson comissioned Airfix in 1949 to produce kits of the tractor to send to sales reps, before that Airfix only made combs and rubber toys, so it could be said he invented the plastic model kit. If it wasn't for Harry, this website wouldn't exist!!
  14. Stunning. Wonderful build of a wonderful subject.
  15. Welcome Harry Should be H163 Dark Green and H165 Med Sea Grey on top with H166 Light Aircraft Grey underneath, but as has been said, the colours can look different in differing lights and photographs, so you can match up any colour that "looks right".
  16. Gotta love the old camo scheme, that's what proper chinooks look like! Outstanding job mate, you've done the kit justice.
