Does anyone have an idea if these doors slid up in the fuselage or to the rear?

I belive they were from the channel islands/normandy area ish (probabally wrong) but was told it was in defiance to an issue they had however I do not belive it was like that for long and the swasticker was replaced.

Love the Detail those carbs are going to be sods to balance

All scratch except for the canopy I think it was Airwaves, Before I tackled it I asked Edgar all the pitfalls and best way to get the visual apperance. After what seamed to be hours Edgar (Mr Spitfire) steared me this way, (the man does know his onions), Seriously Edgar helped on this totally.

I have been modelling in the shed for over 10 yrs, never had a problem with paints out doors.

Still Cracking on, Turrets and tail done now to the wings!! All ok bar from the rear turret and that dreaded seam, if you have the kit you know the problem, Apart from using a Koster replacement all you can do is cover it.
