  1. Thanks for the likes and comments, appreciate it,I love this film, and it still looks stunning, especially in 3D.
  2. After doing the Metaluna Mutant I decided to freshen up my original 1974 Aurora Monsters of the Movies Creature from the Black Lagoon, over the years he lost the fish and a few claw ends, replaced the claws and he's back next to his brethren .
  3. Metaluna Mutant figure, the original figure was sculpted around 1974 for Auroras second wave of Monsters of the Movies series, but never went into production ,several acetate sculpts survived and has at last been re-tooled and released by Atlantis models. Great vintage looking box, with original art from the 70s by Dave Cockrum. Figure is about 1/8th scale
  4. Thanks for the likes and feedback 👍,just putting the finishing touches to my other big brained beastie from Metuluna.
  5. Thanks for all the feedback, and movie references ,its all done and in the RFI thread.
  6. Moebius Martian warrior, fun kit with no major vices. Added a newspaper to the base The Metaluna mutant just turned up,expect more big brained malarkey soon
  7. The Moebius Mars Attacks I.M. Model kit, got a great cartoony feel about it. Went together with little effort, mixed colours on the plastic, with a aluminum rod for the lamppost. Primed and seams filled, added a bit more detail to the victim Bit of a gore fest going on here, the figure is based on the trading cards rather than the Film. Having a real blast with this one Mind you so was this poor guy.
  8. One of my "All time favourite films" and a great view of a seldom seen ship, admittedly you only saw the nose sinking beneath the waves in the first film.
  9. So you can make a brilliant model from a Mach2 kit after all 😃Well they did say that "Anything can happen in the next half hour"
  10. Great news on the successful surgery, and as an extra benefit we get to see your lovely minis👍
  11. Thanks,it was a fun piece to paint Cheers I would say about 1/8th scale
  12. This is the fourth 3d printed figure I have bought pre printed as a kit, and it really is a work of art, literally snapped together in place, great design and a dynamic pose, I'm not even a massive fan of the films, but couldn't resist it:)
  13. Another 3-D print, bought as a 6 piece kit, stands about 20cm tall
  14. Thanks all, sorry about the late reply ,its all been a bit hectic of late🤪 and a Happy new year to all👍
  15. The robot Maria from Metropolis, kit is by X PLUS : Pretty much snapped together straight out of the box,one thing to be wary of,the sprue lugs are massive, and leave a raised part on the seams ,so that was a bit of a pain. The paint scheme for the robot says gold, but she would just end up looking like C3POs Mum, so went for a brushed metal and steel industrial look, added some lighting to the base. Very Happy to have this iconic design on my model shelf, The lovely box art
