Cracking model! very reaslitsic.....as mentioned; the dropped flaps and the deployed indicators look great! I haven't seen those on a model before.

Thanks Bradders, The flaps were not deployed when parked up, but  just wanted to make it a teeny bit different from others

Gladiator looks superb Bruce. I do like the dropped flaps and the deployed indicators too, lovely details 👍

Totally agree with you on the build experience, absolutely joyful. I have also done the Tiger Moth and Stearman and can highly recommend those too.

Thanks Steve. Good to know about the Tiger Moth and Stearman too, as the Tiger Moth is in the stash

Didn't know there was a Canberra still flying. Would have loved to see that!

Originally a RAF one. It was great to see it in the air again after many years of it being grounded with wing spar and inability to find starter cartridges for the engines .

  4. I am currently building the ICM kit which I want to finish as the aforementioned 247 SQN machine and was about to pose this very question, which you have addressed @Graham Boak .
it is interesting that the profile of HP B in Wingleader shows it in just DE/DG, The accompanying photo, rather than confirming a shadow scheme, just seems to show the machine well lit by sun on one side. The other photo of a 247 SQN Gladiator seems to also just be DE/DG. Great observation on HP. B being pictured elsewhere in the book Graham . I’ll go back and look. Postlewaithes profile does state HP. B was camouflaged at the factory rather than field painted, but not what scheme. Your answer though reinforces my own speculation

A cracking collection. All brilliant but I especially like the Phantom and the black Dornier, that looks a tricky one which you have mastered. Very well done.

Thanks Stef, surprisingly, it wasn’t too bad. It looked a little complex in the box, and ICMs instructions aren’t the clearest, but went together quite quickly
