  4. Nice to see something different... I think I've seen one of these at Bruntingthorpe; quite noisey for a little thing. gazza l

  6. Thanks for your feedback, everyone. I had seen some discussion about wheel types but got very confused so decided to go with the kits offering. The lenses are 2.5mm dia. which fit nicely on the end of the cameras. I painted the kit lens gloss back and glued the mv lens on with pva glue... they look quite convincing through the covers. Yes, I know what you mean but it looks much bluer in real life; I think the pale blue backing paper also makes it look a little grey. Yes you're quite right, after looking more closely at the Xtradecal instructions the intake is not present; why don't they point this out? I have now also noticed there is a little whip aerial on top of the fuselage... oh well I can rectify that part!!! Regards, gazza l
  7. Very nice, excellent painting particuarly on the cockpit framing... looks like a skillfull bit of masking. gazza l
  8. Great build, reminds me of when I used to live near Alconbury, they flew straight over my house on their approach. gazza l
  9. Hi people, just finished this, yet another great kit from Airfix. I just added an Eduard seatbelt set, some Little Car mv lenses on the camera fronts and the decals from Xtradecals in 541sqn, RAF Benson 1944 scheme. Painted with Xtracolor PR blue and weathered with pastel chalks. Feedback good or bad always welcome, gazza l
