Hasegawa Nissan Sunny / Pulsar GTiR 1991 1000 Lakes Rally

Another unusual subject from the golden era I will follow along and watch you work your magic! Stay safe Roger -
Thinking back to my days at ABRO I was involved for a time with Chieftain AVRE/AVLB overhaul/service and the AVRE's were always loaded on transporters backwards as there blades hit the trailer if going on forwards so I think your right to put your Chieftain on backwards for that reason. Thanks to @Spookytooth, @Keeff, @Jasper dog, @Bullbasket and @Ned for the kind comments and to everyone who hit the like button. @Ned I think you may have to fight @Bullbasket for Sylvia Sims though! OK now for a small update as you know I decided to try and paint the red cross markings so I sprayed the relevant areas white then cut masks for the red crosses, then using the sponge technique together with a very old tin of Humbrol insignia red enamel added the crosses. When dry the masks were removed to reveal this Not to bad for a first attempt at this and after a clean up and retouching this is the result which will do for me! The last pics show the cab sat on the chassis to check the effects and fit Thanks for looking in your time is appreciated Stay safe Roger

Hope everyone had a good Easter Holiday Thanks to @Jasper dog, @Bullbasket and @Spookytooth for your comments and to everyone who pressed the like button. Small progress has been made with an attempt at painting the red crosses rather than use the supplied decals/transfers, the body panels and chassis have also been painted in SCC15 using the formula John @Bullbasket gave using Tamiya paints on his recent Cromwell build. I'll let the pictures do the talking Many thanks for taking the time to look in it is appreciated Stay safe Roger
