  1. There is a firm of Estate Agents locally called Belvoir and to add to the fun, there’s an ‘!’ at the end. Trevor
  2. Language is a funny thing. As a Liverpool supporter, I now need to wrap my head around this new player’s name https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/dominik-szoboszlai-already-sent-blunt-27237837.amp Donnymick…….Domnoyick………? Trevor
  3. Being pedantic (well it is Britmodeller) the German thing is called MINI and you have to type it in a shouty font. Nerd mode off Trevor

  10. Good luck with this. You mentioned the Coastal Command examples. Some were GR.V’s which were analogous to the I/II, but with a different (Dowty?) undercarriage. Rejected by Bomber Command because the undercarriage was not up to snuff, it was ideal for Coastal Command Work. As a reference, you need this booklet https://stellabooks.com/books/philip-jr-moyes/aerodata-international-no-7-handley-page-halifax-merlin-engined-variants/2135037? Trevor
  11. Excellent news about your son. I hope he has a full recovery. As to the ‘toom, the phrase I’m looking for is ‘chuffing heck’! Trevor
  12. I love that! Lovely and ‘careworn’. Dad had a real one in that colour. Diamond Blue it was. Trevor
  13. Ooh this is nice. You can never have too many Lancashire Kitties! I have the Desert Storm boxing in the ‘stalled for years’ pile. Must get back to it. Trevor
  14. This reminds me of the other visual clue, namely when the canopy side panel is dropped into the open position, check how much space there is between the end of the frame and the top of the wing. The space on the Merlin powered P-51 is deeper. Apparently, there is a ‘restored’ Allison engined Mustang in the US. It had a B/C fuselage. The combination is said to look distinctly ‘off’ from the side. Can’t remember which one it is though. Anyone have a picture? Trevor
  15. No. Production Merlin Mustangs had a noticeably deeper fuselage. Others will soon arrive to give measurements! Trevor
  16. Good looking build. I had the opportunity to see a couple on a day out with the IAC at Casement in the early 80’s Outside the Officer’s Mess The dump Trevor
  17. I read recently that France is training pilots on the Mirage 2000 and is acquiring surplus examples from the Middle East to pass on Trevor
  18. neighbour’s bratty little kid @Keeff (haven’t handed out one of those for a while!)
