I am in the process of finishing the above aircraft which was operating in a polished, natural metal finish. I am unable to identify if the said aircraft would have had the solid black walkways and/or the walkway lines applied and wondered if anyone could help solve this query for me? Many thanks for taking the time to read this and I look forward (hopefully) to some guidance, Cheers Kevin

Hi Rob, I may be mistaken about the tailboom but I'm pretty sure I came across a reference for one when I bought the kit? As you would expect, I can't find it now🙄 Kevin

Thanks very much Charles68, much appreciated! Many thanks Andy...there are some very nice schemes with the kit, well worth a look. Much appreciated Miguel!!

Many thanks Matthew1974! Thanks very much javlin...pick one up, a nice straight forward build!

Thanks fubar57! I can recommend the kit albeit it's a little 'heavy' on scale reproduction especially on the boom (there is, I believe, a pe set to replace it though?) There are several colour schemes to choose from in the box.

A very straightforward build that I treated as a mojo restorer....I sometimes find myself going down a rabbit hole with an excessive amount of detailing (most of which can't been seen anyway) when I'm building some kits which sometimes result in them becoming 'shelf queens'. I have such a kit on the table at the moment and I needed a quick build to overcome my modellers block and this kit provided that. Enough of my rambling, the kit was painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels and was a very quick, simple and enjoyable build!

Many thanks Dm! apologies for the late reply.....the winch comes as part of the Revell kit although, from what I remember, I added a few additional bits. I hope you enjoy your build! PS I added rotor locks some time after these photos were taken (scratch built) -

I am at the minute, constructing a 1/48 Gannet combining a Classic Airframes and a Dynavector kit. I intend to complete the kit as a T2 variant but I am somewhat confused by the overall silver colour. Some references quote polished aluminium and some refer to the colour as high speed silver? Can anyone clarify which of the two 'silvers' are accurate to use on the T2 Gannet? Many thanks for your help! Cheers, Kevin

Many thanks Jabba.....that was my initial thoughts but I was baffled by the photos I'd seen! This is the problem I am having Des.....too many conflicting photos and my dodgy interpretations! Thanks for your input.. Well that's answered that one then JagRigger!!! What a useful reference source....many, many thanks!! Kevin

I'm looking for information regarding the colour of the undersides of the Wessex HC2 when the upper surfaces are painted matt medium (lichen) green BS4800.12B.25 the lighter tone and matt (NATO IRR) dark green BSC241 the darker tone. Are these colours 'wrap around' or is there a different colour on the undersides? I have looked at lots of photos and I am unable to identify the colour.....could well be operator error at this end! As always, many thanks in anticipation, Cheers, Kevin

Many thanks Pete, that's a great bit of detail and one that I will incorporate into my build, cheers Kevin

Here is my 1/48 airfield fuel truck that I updated to sit alongside my Invader. The kit was built pretty much out of the box with some additional detailing and updating (orange beacon fire extinguisher etc) All of the decals came out of the spares box and I used USAF photos for referencing. The kit was painted with Tamiya XF's and weathered with pastels...
