  1. Hey guys, I'm moving ahead with my Lnyx HMA.8 and had a question about the lack of rivits on the surface of the Revell model. What size Archer rivits would you use and isn't there a build here that shows the kit being built? Can't seem to find it. Thanks for the help gentleman. Chuck
  2. Hey guys, this is one of the best threads I've seen on any modeling site. It has inspired me to build the 32nd scale Revell HAS.3 kit as a HMA.8, love that "ugly nose". HA I've got the MK.88 kit as a donor for the the nose w/ the Sea Owl and Sea Spray equipment. What else do I need to use from the MK.88 kit and scratch build to get this into a reasonable HMA.8? What should the interior configuration be?Any tips and information would be a great help. Many thanks in advance. Chuck
  3. Hey Guys, picked up the MK.88 kit for a great price. It's got all the parts I was looking for. Know just gotta do my research. Many thanks to Colin for the offer of sending me the parts. Not sure if he would have been so helpful if he knew I lived in Georgia, USA. Long way from South Africa! HAHA Again thanks for the kind offer. I'll be back with more questions I'm sure. Chuck
  4. Gentleman, admittedly my knowledge of the Lynx is very limited so any help with this would be helpful. I'd like to convert the HAS.3 to the HMA.8, what must be done to achieve this? What parts from the MK88 can be used, like maybe the nose with the underside radar, suitably modified for the IR unit on top? What else needs to be done and what else is needed. Thanks alot. Chuck
  5. Very nice. Any chance of doing it in 32nd scale? Chuck
  6. Very informative. But, what are you gonna do about that goofy leading edge of the wing? That's what I want to see. Chuck
  7. Jake Melampy's book on the F-15 is awesome, if you can find it. Chuck
  8. This kit will be re-released? Great news, any date? Chuck
  9. Great work! Thank you for doing this conversion, you do know that it will result in an AH7 being released for the rest of us? Chuck
  10. After comparing a BOZ Pod from a spare 32nd scale ECR kit to one of the pictures in the link I posted above it appears that the BOZ Pod is a great starting place to scratch build a TERMA MCP Pod. My first thoughts were way off. The TERMA Pod may be a long longer, but that's easy to fix. Guess we'll go a little farther with this. LOL Chuck
  11. Hey guys, here are a few pics I found of the TERMA POD. I don't think it is built on the BOZ pod. Sure would love this in 32nd scale. http://tornadosig.weebly.com/terma-mcp.html Chuck
  12. Thanks Gerard! Recieved it just fine. Chuck
  13. Please email that to me for my Tornado build if you could. Many thanks. [email protected]. Chuck
  14. Thanks guys. Any pictures on the web that you guys know of? Chuck
  15. Thanks Andy, didn't know there was an Air Data Tornado book. Have to see if I can find it. Chuck
