  2. well inspired by ShaunB on MMM, and having found this unboxed in the loft the other day, i thought id build this quick and fun while spending all my effort on the typhoon this is the Revell 1/48 kits and its OOB, its not perfect and would not hold up to close inspection but looks like a Mustang so im happy P-51D 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group, 8th Air Force, Debden, England 1944 flown by Lt. Marvin Arthur and one with her sister hope you like her

  8. ok considering the time and the aircraft why? make the tail so small for big helis let me get this right, at the time wessex and seaking mainly, but the wirlwind wasnt that much smaller

  11. i have this afternoon been in contact with Andy Evans, the FS numbers are direct from MoD and Bae, cant help other than that sorry
  12. having seen the raf ones reguarly they fade very fast so you could have 2 jets both painted the same, but the older one would look different as its faded check out the pannel under the nose on this, same paint but a new coat on the pannel
  13. thyphoons are up over london at the mo, got them on the scanner escorting 'olympic1' not sure what that is? and 'blow pipe' is a possible enemy aircraft they are tracking over the channel

  18. i agree gary but surley if northolt QRA scrambles so would the main qra just in case, so if they couldnt handle it aspa 6 sqn would be there on task to cover, basically northolt would be a super quick qra with northholt not far behind, im sure a tanker and awac would also be on scene
  19. 1. i hoesstly thought thay were war shot 2. if they are gong to be true QRA over london they aint going to be going distance so wont need tanks i belive 6 sqn will be covering the whole of the ukon QRA at the time except civil approaches to london
