  13. This is my first post of a finished 32nd scale model on this forum. Years ago after a terrible day at the office I decided to do some modelling to calm down. But something went wrong and in my frustration I smashed the almost finished fuselage against the wall. At least I collected the debris and put them back in the box. I pulled the box out of the stash some weeks ago (withe no boss anymore - only SWMBO) and my guilty conscience told me to finish it, which I did. I need to mention that I did not thoroughly research the subject, it's more or less based on my interpretation of the few - partly conflicting - information I have. But I've enjoyed the build Hope you like it: BTW: It's the Hasegawa 1/32 Bf 109G-6 kit with a few etched parts in the cockpit and the Barracuda canon gondolas, paints are all Gunze. Markings are a mix of Sky Decals and Montex masks. Thanks for watching. Lothar
  14. Fantastic project - which version and what markings have you chosen? Lothar
  15. I'm in the finishing stages of a WW2 aircraft and have to use Sky Decals for it - which I've never used before. Have you got some advice for me what to consider and how they behave? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Lothar
  16. Jaw dropping, definitely one of the best IJN ship models I've ever seen - hats off Lothar
  17. Is this type used on carriers only or also used land based? Pardon my ignorance, I have absolutely no knowledge about these. If these were used on airfields also I'd be interested in a kit or two in both scales. Thanks. Lothar
  18. That's what I do mostly every day makes a lot of sense! Lothar
  19. Depending on start and end date I could imagine to participate with either a 32nd scale Israeli A-4E Ahit or a 48th plain grey U.S. Marines A-4M. I've got the bits and pieces for both, so for now count me in. Lothar
  20. Grüß Dich Peter, schön Dich hier zu sehen - wenn es geht sehen wir uns ja in Bühl! Gruß Lothar Welcome Peter, nice to see you here and don't forget to post some pictures of your excellent work !!!
  21. Excellent build and finish, the paint work looks simply beautiful. What do you think of the Airfix kit? Is it worth to replace my aged Academy kits? I have a soft spot for the Hunter, an epic aircraft. Lothar
  22. It's a stunning model - and photography too. The NMF is simple outstanding - hats off May I ask what MRP colors you chose for the metals? I would like to give them a try because they look more convincing to me than the Alclad stuff I use. Lothar
  23. Another beautiful model from you. The finish is superb, the mottling is fantstic, you must be a very gifted airbrush handler Lothar
  24. That's a beauty, the weathering looks just perfect for this scale. Fantastic job!!! Lothar
