Hi Guys,
Just a quick question, what do you use to clean your Airbrush after spraying Future thru it ?
at the moment I'm a bit reluctant to put it thru my H&S Infinity in case I knacker it up, so any advice relevant to the UK would be appreciated.
Cheers Si
You could do a 16th Air Army one based at Brandis in the DDR, at least one of em had a kinda mottled camo allegedly applied whilst serving in Afghanistan.
Bort numbers and red stars would come from the spares box, although you may have to handpaint the 'Grach' (Rook) emblem !

Hi-Decal 72-031 Group Soviet Forces Germany 16th Air Army 20th Guards Regt (a/c of all 3 squadrons) including 'yellow 27' ( a sharks mouth a/c) (Free from Diego from HDL for participation in the ARC 'Warsaw Pact' group build)
Hi-Decal 72-033 Assorted a/c ...Su-17M4R of Ukrainian Independent Recce Regiment , a Polish a/c and East & West German a/c too (including the decorative NVA/LSK JBG77 a/c)

Nose cone painted, Canopy masked and ready for priming..... the auxiliary engine air intake scoops have been added as SMER don't provide these rather obvious features in the kit !
no chaff/flare dispensers are going to be fitted.

Thanks m8, don't think I'll need any for a while as I bought a few rattle cans of the Tamiya stuff and it covers pretty good and just as important..economically !, as for the canopy, scratching won't be necessary after all as my m8's gonna drop a Pavla PFM canopy off to me this Friday
so it will then be all systems go again !

Shouldn't be too much of a problem ...I'm lucky enough to have access through work to a large quantity of 'Ureol' ( a patternmakers sandable carvable resin) and I'm in the process of whittling a new master to form a replacement.
Failing this I'll buy a new Pavla canopy
Regards Simon
Looks very good m8 !.... the covered canopy is something often seen on Soviet aircraft...(indeed often they tarp up the whole front fuselage) and is not often reproduced on model a/c.

wings and fuselage all filled and re-scribed where necessary.....build is now temporarily on hold due to me bu**ering up the canopy whilst attempting to vac form a new one using the original as the master
