superb job !, I have the 1/72 Zvezda version of this a/c and I'll be happy if it turns out half as good as this mate !

Thanks guys !...the nose ring is chrome tape and the fuselage was AK Xtremes 'White Aluminium' the metal finish was then sealed with AK's 'Gauzy' metal finish protector/enhancer Regards, Simon.

Looking good so far mate, particularly impressed with that cockpit !, I'm also building a Lightning F Mk1 from Sword for the same GB although mines in braille scale so not quite the same level of detail as yours Regards Simon -

fantastic !....how did it build, any pitfalls I need to know about ? as I'm about to start this for a Cold War 'Out of Africa' GB on Facebook (It'll be done OOB as a French AF operating in Algeria 1961) Regards Simon -

Hi I used Tamiya paints and the colours were :XF23 Light Blue, XF58 Olive Green, XF59 Desert Yellow, XF64 Red Brown & XF67 NATO Green Hope this helps.

they are included on the etch but so bloody tiny I lost some to the carpet monster when they went ballistic !, I plan on fitting a master pitot too mate !

the fit was pretty good for a limited run kit no locating pins however so care has to be taken, the detail however is phenomenal for 1/72 for example the Zvezda K36 ejection seat has about 27 parts which is slightly more than the Kittyhawk 1/48! the wing fence/pylons are seperate and commendably thin and a decent amount of etch brass is included for things like aerials and the chaff/flare dispensers along the fuselage. In short....go out and buy one or two !
