The customs limit is £15.

My copy of this book has just arrived from Amazon and they honoured the pre-order price of £12.79. This would be a bargain if the book was complete but it's not. Pages 130, 131, 134, 135, 138, 139, 142 & 143 are blank. Can anybody else who has received the book confirm whether their copies are complete? I'd like to establish whether my copy is a one off or whether there has been a wider print fault before I return the book to Amazon. John

The problem for us Brits is that we won't be able to decide whether to buy the F-35B or the F-35C and even then we won't have a shelf to put it on until 2020.

No answers from me but can I add a question of my own. I've found a couple of mentions of these being in the ZM4xx range. Is this still true? I'm presuming that I'm like everyone else and going to try to do an Atlas C1. Given the current state of defence spending, I wonder whether I'll have to refer to it as a what-if. John

I suspect that someone's going to be real upset at paying £200 for a 1/72nd kit that's less than £70 at Hannants. The Aviation Megastore has the 1/72 in stock and the box top clearly shows 1/48 but AM have added a correction to the kit details; 'Contrary to the boxtop this kit IS 1/72 scale and not 1/48'. I've added in the seller to my favourites and shall wait for the inevitable feedback. John

The £105 limit relates to duty; the VAT limit has remained at £18. My own view is that importers and retailers have put their prices up to maintain their profit margins. It will be a few months before they realise that they are not making any profits and will have to amend prices down accordingly or just shut up shop. I'm buying now either at 2008 prices (still some items in stock if you look around) or in sales i.e. Ian Allan's two day sale with 25% off. John
