I have used Tamiya acrilycs for the camouflage scheme And Alclad's for the metal parts A great kit! I recommend it! The only scracth build addon are the opened doors and the AGM-69 SRAM, nuclear missiles ! I hope you like it! Byyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Regards, TRUSKY1965.
  2. Thank you for your kind words! I have mainly used Tamiya colors. For the camouflage scheme: XF-48 Kakhi, XF-65 Field Grey and XF-27 Black Green.

  10. Thank you guys! You are very kind to me! I just continue with the camouflage weathering. simply adding some white to the colors, and spraying a thin coat... is a nice and easy effect! My prefered part of the plane: the wing. The detail of the Hasegawa kit is wonderful The tail is in "Tiger Meet" yellow I hope you like it Next week more! I hope! Byyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
  11. This work is awesome! The paint and the overall finish is impressive, as usual in your builds. What combination of paint and airbrush did you use? Regards, TRUSKY1965.
  12. I have just started the paint stage. This is the appearance of the plane: Top view... and belly view There are lots of mistakes in the paint, i will correct it in the next stage! The external tanks are ready too I have repainted the wheels. In this particular plane the rims are not white, they are in steel finish! I think the detail remains intact! Well, this is all! Thank you and byyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
  13. Definetly a wonderful work, in all aspects! Congratulations General! Your collection grows in quantity and quality, and this Vickers shows the beauty of the big jet strike planes! Regards, TRUSKY1965.
  14. Yes, you are right! The bands that i have painted are in Humbrol 100 "matt red brown". Maybe the color of the photo is not the real one (i'll never understand the concepts of "color temperature" or "color space" of my digital camera!). I apologize for that! Regards, Rafael.
  15. The APU exhasust vent was a little disaster (a big disaster in fact, in a little scale!) I rebuild it with the Eduard photoetched piece: Now it looks better. The seats, with the belts added: A small progress! Please be patient! Byyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!1
  16. Thank you guys, for your kind words. I continue testing the fit: A typical kit from Hasegawa: a lot of pieces with a nice fit. The tail section, with the static dischargers added: (don't look at the nozzles, they are not the final ones!) A detail of the dischargers in horizontal stabilizers: and the big vertical fin A fantastic kit! The AGM-69 SRAM nuclear missiles, now with the reddish bands: That's all, for the moment. More, next week! Byyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

  22. Aviation Workshop has send me a new pair of asraam's! ... but they have some fins broken too... :shithappens: ... In despite of all, i'm completely satisfied with the service. For me the quick and kind answer is the evidence of their efforts towards the customer. I hope i can repair the missiles for this build! Regards, TRUSKY1965.
