Sea Harrier FRS Mk-1. Hasegawa 1/72
TRUSKY1965 replied to TRUSKY1965's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
A little progress with the cockpit: I was added a little extinghisher... ...and no more... but some remaining photo etched parts to rebuild the HUD... That's all folks! Next week, more progress.... Byyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyye! -
I´m working in a new project. The Hasegawa's Sea Harrier in 1/72nd scale: I think Fujimi has a better model, but the Hasegawa's one is not bad at all fine recessed lines and lots of detail, for a so little plane The weapons are included: free fall bombs, sea eagle and sidewinder missiles... The cockpit is poor (zero detail!), but is a good base for adding different self-made details. And the decal sheet, for a three different units: . I just begin the work painting the pilot, and adding some belts to the seat: Is not a big progress!... More next week (I hope!)

The finest Harrier than i ever seen! Congratulations! The paint and wheatering are awesome!... Now i'm working in an Sea Harrier FRS Mk1 (1/72nd scale), and if i reach a 30% of your outstanding results, i'll be happy. For me it can't be better! Congratulations one more time! Regards. TRUSKY1965.

I have corrected some details. I have smooth some dirty spots: I have added some scractches... And added some effects in the tail... and a coat of semi-matt varnish on the front cone... Now, i hope i can build a diorama with the jaguar! Waiting for the diorama... And, that's all folks. Good Byyyyyyyyyyyyyeeee! -

One of the most impressive works in the forum. The metal finish is awesome! Congratulations! A very nice model indeed! ... A question: the metal paint, is ALCLAD? the smoothness and subtle tone changes, are wonderful!! Regards. TRUSKY1965.

The Tornado was the more decisive plane in the first days of the Gulf War, in 1991. The losses were important too, due to the dangerous missions they did. This is my humble homage to the brave tornado crews, and this wonderful strike plane. General view: Nose section: The Armoured Charmer, with the TIALD "Sandra" LGB's AIM 9L Sidewinder, and 2250 l "Hindenburguer" tank: Skyshadow interference pod: BOZ-107 Chaff-Flare dispenser: Mauser cannon bay: Tail burned detail: The belly of the beast: The exhaust nozzles and reverse thrust system: I hope you like it. Fell free to comment. All opinions are welcome!
