Very nice Kfir. Thanks for sharing 👍 -
Finally some of the manufacturers fills this big gap 👍. I am glad it is IBG and looking forward to get at least two kits to add it besides old MPM in my display cabinet.

Amazing and superb builds. Especially I like the captured one as you managed to get very nice camouflage finish with slightly visible crosses on the wing.👍 -

I really can not find right wording to express more than only "hats off" or "it is excelent build". Because it is really incredible result there 👍 I know what I am writing about as I am building the Revell Tornado too. I fully agree with the quality of the kit and especially the canopy is really bad. It really needs big effort to get such as excellent result. This was the reason I bought another Tornado but it is the Hasegawa one.

1/72 J-22 Soko ORAO attack aircraft from new company LITAKI
David Koktavý replied to Litaki's topic in The Rumourmonger
It is really good news. May be I miss it, or it is too early to ask. Is the planned release date of the first box known? -
Very nice build and camouflage 👍 I guess the Rob Taurus canopy is originally for Finemolds, isn´t it ? Is there any option to get Erla Haube canopy which fits in closed position on Tamiya? Also I am happy to know, the AZ tail section fits well. With this staff we can build more sub-versions of G6...

F-4U-5N 1/72 Revell
David Koktavý replied to David Koktavý's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Thanks for comments. This one subject was most difficult, because the SAF FG-1D I can do from Tamiya and for Mustang there is also good base in Tamiya or another manufacturer. -
Hello fellow modellers, I fill some gaps in the presentation of my finished models. As we know, nice late Corsair kits of U5, U7 versions are still missing on the market and we can take only Italeri/Revell moulds. Due to the quality, I didn´t take care to assemble it so much, but concentrated on some major modifications to achieve a match with the U-5N version. I gave some comments in my ongoing thread HERE The finished model represents one of the most popular Corsairs in my opinion. This is Major Fernando Enriquez Soto's FAH-609 from the so-called "soccer war" between Honduras and El Salvador. In 1969, it was the last ever aerial combat between piston-engined aircraft and Fernando Soto achieved two Salvadoran FG-1Ds and one Mustang kills, whose silhouettes are marked under the cockpit on both sides. I draw and printed the decals a long time ago and thus used them. They are now the content of some aftermarket decals, but I would advise caution in the choice, as the machine had two appearances. One from 1969 after the war and the other so-called "museum marking" as the machine is part of the Honduran Military Museum and appears to have been put into flying condition. The best distinguishing features of these appearances are the reversed silhouettes of the kills under the cockpit and the number 09 located only on the right side of the undercarriage cover.

Leopard tank Inspiration gallery

Hello , let me contribute my item for your inspiration. HERE are more pictures with some words. -
It seems that this Argentine rebox doesn´t contain Falklands war markings. It seems those are later camouflages after the war

Very nice Neptun 👍 Conditions under all the modeller around the world are building its kits are really various 🙂

I did a little investigation with following result: P-39 L has Curtiss Eletric propeller Dim 10´ 4" , redesigned nose wheel and 6 exhaust pipes. I am a bit confused about the canon size, but I think there was again standard 37mm. The second point is to identify right parts in the sprues. Regarding to propeller I gues that Part. no. 60 is Aeroproduct 10´ 4" , No.61 Curtiss Eletric 10´ 4". No.62 should be Aeroproduct 11´ 7" , There is missing the four bladed propeller which was used on P-39 Q-20, 21, 25 Regarding to the canon nozzles, I am not sure but it seems Part No. 71 is surely 20mm. Parts 72 and 73 I can not recognise as one should be 20mm and the other 37mm. The nose wheel for L version should be part. No. 43 and the nose part should be already with vents on nose, means part No. 21 I have another point there. There were photo-reconaisance conversions through all the versions. The Armahobby offers P-39 Q-6 from 82.nd TRS, so I gues there should be a bulge on the rear belly for cameras. But there is no part or even mention in the instructions.

Ehhh, sorry for my notice, but there on Britmodeller is really one unpretty habit which sometimes appears. There is not mentioned manufacturer and scale of that model. I apologize if I have overseen it, but I don´t have deep knowledge about Canbera, so I can only guess it is 1/72 ?? Anyway, nice build and nice and interesting marking 👍 👏

Superb build Patrick 👍 -
Well, hats off to all who spend additional effort to take care of every detail, fitting, sinking mark in wheel bays etc. etc... My progress is quite slow and it is a bit setback to start another kits on my desk, but I have to keep modeling tempo on Tornado, at least to decals stage. BTW. I glued all the details, antenas, pitot tube. Let´s bet how many times it will be broken during manipulation 🤔😀

1/72 - BAe Hawk 200 by A&A Moldels - released

A single seated variant of that famous plane is really needed to fill a gap in my Hawks collection. As far as I know there exists only some conversion set which is quite not reachable...- 48 replies

Before sharing another new models, below a report on what I've been spending time last time. It's the Tornado from Revell. Hasegawa is prepared for camouflage for a long time . So I have started the second Tornado Gr.1 from Revell which I intend to do in Gulf war colours. But shortly after the start I discovered that although the mouldings look good at first glance, especially given the nice sharp engraving including rivets, it's not a great kit at all. In addition, I found that for the Gulf Tornado I need the large 2250 L tanks which are only in the Tornado RAF box. So I got this box too. As I had another one sprues I started looking for what camouflage I could do for it. As a result, I now have a total of 1x Hasegawa, 2x Revell, 2x Italeri. I've canceled the Italeri kit due to its age poor quality, and will only use decals and some armament from it. So it seems I will still need another Tornado , probably again a Revell because it still seems to be a best kit. So I have started building a second Revell. I chose the camouflage with an animal theme in mind for the ongoing local club group build. The big fin of Tornado really offers a change to make a lot of arts there. Unfortunately, this Tornado is a Gr.4A version, Revell and Hasegawa both end with Gr.1. So I had to do some additional scratch work. On this very nice site you will find many interesting facts and background https://www.tornadosig.com/ . So, according to the description I made two new sensors out of plastic, filled the cannon nozzles and engraved one side panel. I continued step by step with the build until today. There were a lot of parts to clean from sprue, a lot of dry fitting, a lot of sanding and a little bit of filling and engraving. I had to polish the canopy. By the way, the quality of the clear parts is obvious from the photo. Finally, I decided to check the pose with attaching the landing gear. After changing the front wheel suspension it seems OK to me. Now I am going to proceed step by step to be ready for camouflage.

It is for the first time I see someone who keep "to do list" like myself. I think it is good management. Good management = good results 👍 🙂
