Nice work so far Radleigh. What are the kit decals like? Richard in NZ

There appears to be a misident in the Wellington schemes - L7818 should be 75(NZ) Sqn, not 37 Sqn (which was not an NZ sqn)? Richard in NZ

You won the Battle, Jerzy - lovely model. And not slow, I have been building a Shackleton since 1982 and a Bristol Freighter since 1975! Richard in NZ

I may be wrong (often am), but were not Belcher Bits rumoured to be working on a North Star conversion? Whoever does, I am up for one. Richard in NZ

I have been given a Frog Herald (the Malaysian Air Force bagged kit) which has been started (very badly) at some time in the last 50 years. I can deal with what I have, but unfortunately two parts are missing; one mainwheel and one propeller spinner. Does anyone have a broken / incomplete Herald from which I might obtain these parts? Happy to pay/swap/whatever, and I will pay postage to NZ. Many thanks. Richard in NZ

Thank you, accepted. Not being over-sensitive but some things never go away, or diminish, with time. Richard in NZ -

As an NZer who knew several people on the Erebus flight (which was NZP, by the way) I find this remark tasteless in the extreme. Richard in NZ -
FM /Fonderie Miniature did a 1/48 F11F some years ago. It is the best kit that I have seen from them, i.e. verging on buildable. We do need a new one, but I imagine that its limited service and lack of involvement in any real shooting war would put it well down any manufacturer's list. Richard in NZ

Airfix have moulded two raised circles representing fuel filler points on the spine of the aircraft. I have looked at a lot of photographs and cannot see any such raised circles. Should they be sanded flush and circles scribed, or reinstated with discs of plastic card after sanding? I ask because my upper fuselage joint is a little untidy due to warped fuselage halves, so sanding will be required... Any help much appreciated. Richard in NZ

Tauro do a nice set of decals for an Italian Ala Littoria Ju-52 as well, if you want something out of the ordinary. Richard in NZ

Agree with Albeback52. It was a nice idea, but now that the cold wind of fiscal reality is blowing up the Airfix kilt this will be the first bright idea to go. Pity, I was looking forward to an SRN-1... Richard in NZ

Brilliant work, and great to see a proper EDSG finish rather than the fashionable (and wrong) lighter shades. Richard in NZ
