  3. Philp, Draw decals already do decals for Montana ANG (among others): http://www.drawdecal.com/store/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=672 HTH, Richard in NZ
  4. I think that if you read the Hobby Easy ad you will find that it is for pre-orders, with a release date of 10 November 2012 - not exactly "now released". And it's F-4B, not F4-B. I know, picky picky...
  5. Confirmed for Jan 2013 apparently: http://www.cybermodeler.com/news/trumpeter.shtml
  6. The Argentinian and Spanish aerobatic teams in 1/48 would be brilliant.
  7. Minor thread hijack (sorry), but does the current incarnation of the 1/24 Harrier still have the GR1 / AV-8A pointed nose as well as the GR3 one? Many thanks.
  8. Steve, it appears that Aviation Megastore has one set left: http://www.aviationmegastore.com/ee-canber...0&art=68024 HTH, Richard in Auckland
  9. Thanks Larry, that is very helpful. Cheers, Richard
  10. Larry, were you able to find drawings or good photos of the radar pod? I too would like to build one but have only some relatively long range photos and the "Mk 1 eyeball". Any help would be much appreciated. Sorry for the slight thread hijack but it is about Seahawks...
  11. Thanks Dannielle, that may just be the best kit review I have read. Objective, meticulously researched and well illustrated - 10/10! Richard in NZ
  12. I received the gun pod from Roll Models today and it looks very good, well up to current standards. May I repeat my request for Mass ANG decals? If they did not use the gun my notoriously flexible standards as to accuracy may have to come into play... Cheers, Richard in NZ
  13. Roll Models tell me that it is on its way; perhaps they have some very old stock? Now for my next mission, finding decals for 101FIS Massachusetts ANG - the pale blue markings with "Cape Cod" on the droptanks. I believe Experts' Choice decal 48-39 is the one. Does anyone have a spare? Many thanks again.
  14. Thanks everyone. I have ordered one from Roll Models and will report - if, of course, it ever turns up.
  15. Thanks Jennings. Odd that Roll Models still list it. Anyone got a spare?
  16. Is the Missing Links resin gun pod for the Monogram F-106 still available? And secondly, do I recall correctly that AMS had one under consideration? Harald? Thanks all. Richard in NZ
  17. I would rate the Hasegawa 1/72 Beaufighter as "real competition" - just my opinion, of course. Richard in NZ
  18. Thank you all, I will try to find the book. I love this site...
  19. On p.241 of Leslie Hunt's "Twenty-one Squadrons" RAuxAF history there is a photo of a Meteor F8 from 610 (County of Chester) Squadron. The photo is of rather poor quality, but as well as 610's black/white sawtooth bars to the roundel the silver aircraft has a dark (probably black?) top to the fuselage, from the nose to the base of the fin. I cannot discern the serial number, or whether or not the fin/rudder carry any decoration. While there are a lot of colourful RAuxAF Meteors this is the first time I have seen this one. Can anyone provide any further information on this aircraft? Many thanks.
  20. This restoration has to be seen to be believed. Here is a video of it taxiing: Richard in NZ
  21. Decals for the "For Sale" aircraft (including Roos, but you probably have them) are available on Model Alliance decals 48-197, and in 1/72. Hannants has them. HTH, Richard in NZ
  22. It is the Pfalz DXII. FE2b also on show.
  23. Thanks Adrian, I thought so. Probably would have seen a picture by now if such a trainer existed. Richard
