Yes mate, I've got a set from the kit as I used aftermarket decals on mine. If they can go to a good home, I'll post them to ya. for an old kit, she does look good. Most of my childhood flights were on these, so I have a soft spot for them !

The minicraft kit has the correct nose doors for the Luftwaffe picture, both 320 & 420 kits, so you will be fine.

OMG - incredible. I can't get my head around how good they look for something that hasn't been bathed in filler, sanded to smitherines then layered with an ozone depleting lump of paint ! Insipirational

That 188 was the first kit I ever made when I was about 5 years old ! (I remember because it was my mums first day back at work after making me and lil sis !!!!!) I still remember not knowing how to put the decals on, so I cut them out and glued them in place with the backing paper still on. Those were the days without the internet for learning !!!! Not that I could read at that age anyway !!!!!! This should be fun.

How good are the kit engines though ? The kit engines in the 747 have awefull fan blades.

Guys, A couple of questions, hope you can help... 1. Dan air a300 - I think they were powered by the CF6-50. Braz do a resin set of CF6-80's, would these do or are they completely different ? Chris (Stringbag) has a spare kit for me, and I was planning on building it in the Dan Air scheme 2. Also, I've put in the wanted section, but not sure how often this is frequented. Does anyone know where I can pick up a set of Braz JT9D engines for my Revell 741/2 that will be finished in BOAC colours ? They seem to be out of production, and Google searches haven't given me any leads. Thanks Neil
