  1. Dave, Thanks for your response! The Wingspan drawings might help out rather well and I appreciate the assistance. If you like you can PM me the details. Rick
  2. Simon, Yes, I had tried the "Aviation News" website, but the only site I could find was run by Key Publishing and although they list the various plans, there is no way to order them. I'm guessing that the Aviation News moniker was bought out and this new publisher (Key) doesn't support or have the rights to the back issues anymore? Anyway, thanks for the link I ordered the plans (along with some others I was searching for as well) and hopefully they'll be here in the US shortly! Rick
  3. Hi all! I am in need of some detailed (more than what's included in the Putnam title "Avro Aircraft Since 1908") line drawings of an Avro York C Mk.I. It is my understanding that Aviation News Vol. 11 No. 7 had them and it's possible that they were also included in the Aviation News Mini-Monograph (but I am not sure), but sadly both are unavailable. References for this aircraft are scarce as hen's teeth to say the least. I don't need originals, as good copies will do. However, if someone is selling either or both of those titles, I am willing to buy them. I am also willing to compensate for copies of the drawings as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated! TIA, Rick
  4. HB has the TA-7C & A-7K's in the release queue for 2010! Rick
  5. My top five (non- RAF) are: F-4 Phantom (for it's sheer ubiquitous-ness) F-111 (the first operational swing-wing fighter, need I say more) B-36 (My uncle was a bomb handler on these monsters, so a special place is reserved) MiG-21 (the Soviet bloc equivalent (in production terms) of the F-4) MiG-23/37 (the Soviet bloc equivalent of the F-111)
  6. You mean such as this one Julien? Rick
  7. Here are mine: Lightning Javelin Vulcan VC-10 Victor Rick
  8. I have to say, I REALLY want one of these kits! Graham, I say GO FOR IT, your modeling skills will only improve along the way! Rick
  9. An Eduard re-issue of this Airfix kit would also help to lessen some of the demand for the Airfix versions that turn up for sale on the web, thereby lowering (hopefully) the prices. I'll bet that within days of an actual release by Eduard, you'll see a number of Airfix kits for sale online, by those that were simply speculating on that kit. I hope this comes true as I need one more to go with my Aeroclub/Neomega T.4/T.5 conversion set! Rick
  10. Great news, I guess I'll need 3 possibly 4 sets (assuming I break down and grab the B.2 as well)! Rick
  11. So these replacement parts will be appropriate to the British Canberra's, but will they be accurate for all 3 Marks or exactly which of the Airfix versions, will they be appropriate to? (I have the B(I).8 and PR.9) TIA. Rick
  12. Mark, I have that site bookmarked, it is an excellent reference site for MB seats. I particularly like the diagram that details all the parts and the list that spells out which seat went with which a/c! Rick
  13. Adrian, Aviation Workshop has announced some detail sets for the Airfix TSR.2, that include pylons and tanks among other goodies! Here are the details, but no prices yet. The last info received stated that these will be available late May: BCS-708 1/48 Scale TSR.2 Set 1 - Extended Nosewheel leg, weapon pylons and 1,000lb Mk.N1 bombs. BCS-709 1/48 Scale TSR.2 Set 2 - Detachable in-flight refuelling probe, 1,435 gallon Ventral drop tank, 450 gallon drop tanks and pylons. BCS-710 1/48 Scale TSR.2 Set 3 - WE177B Bombs and new weapon bay insert. BCS-711 1/48 Scale TSR.2 Set 4 - Blue Water missiles and pylons. BCS-712 1/48 Scale TSR.2 Set 5 - Reconnaissance Pack. Sounds very good to me and these bits will go well with my "What-If" decals! HTH, Rick
