I had a problem with my delivery to sunny Cumbria.
As airfix sent my hawks by home delivery network and I'm out at work all day, I missed it. I rang home delivery, and asked that they go to one of my neighbours (one who is out of action with a broken back) guess what - card through the door. So I had a three hour round trip from the south lakes to their depot in Blackburn to pick it up.
If they had used royal mail it would have meant a ten minute walk to the post office to pick it up. I'm a bit cheesed off to be honest, I've emailed my concerns and got the automated "we can't be bothered" reply.
I doubt I'll be ordering anything off the site in the future. At current fuel costs and my taking my time into consideration, it just isn't worth it. I'm also waiting for a flying hours kit and hoping that it comes through the usual mail, if it doesn't I'll probably just tell home deliverys to send it back to airfix.
