  1. It means exactly what it says. The kit is a product that is aimed at a market which can be defined by many things which will affect the kit in many ways. And by your question you do not understand marketing or how to produce a product. As for your attitude towards 1/48, you show a closed mind towards things that do not suit your view. Gondor
  2. Your confusing Modern with Accuracy and are not takeing into account the market the model is aimed at. Gondor
  3. Very nice model. Just one question, How does it fly without a crew? Gondor
  4. Looks like my source is related to yours Heather, just the details differ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angus,_Scotland It's not good when one source disagrees with itself Gondor
  5. I used Google and I won't remind you you, about it, much Gondor
  6. As the saying goes, "The Future is Clear" Gondor
  7. Great job on the build @Heather Kay pity that you called Angus Forfarshire as it changed back to Angus in 1928. Gondor
  8. Your description of the "B3" sounds like the Phase Six version of the Vulcan I know a little about. Gondor
  9. Just as the title says, which RAF squadrons would have flown aircraft that carried Skybolt? Gondor
  10. No idea about the 1/48 eduard set for the Buccaneer, the 1/72 looks quite nice though. Here is mine waiting for me to matt down the paint and maybe add a few little extras. Gondor
  11. And there was me thinking that you suffered from CDO. That's like OCD but with the letters in the correct order! Gondor
  12. Tough little Begger wasn't it. Congratulations on getting it over the line Heather. A glass or three to recover from that I bet Gondor
  13. Crowood Aviation Series: Blackburn Buccaneer. Pg 141 XV359, XV361, XW530 from 12 Sqn, and XX885, XX901 and XZ430 from 208 Sqn. Gondor
  14. Best to cut a section of the fuselage around the wing root as well. Makes it easier to realigne everything when it is in the correct position. An interesting aircraft and the kit looks like an enjoyable challenge. Gondor
  15. I think we called them Pine Cones or something like that as they looked a bit like them, maybe Christmass Trees. Trying to remember some things from thirty odd years ago doesn't always work Gondor
  16. Those conical items look very much like the UHF aerials I used to work with decades ago in the RAF. Gondor
  17. Lessons learned and all that. However it is progress which is also a good thing Gondor
  18. That 965 would scare the cr@p out of me in 1/72 and I have one to build in 1/600 when I get the courage and an idea how to hold all the photo etch parts together! Gondor
  19. I beleive that the screws are actually Dzuse fasteners. Often used to hold panels onto frames where you want to be able to remove them quickly without loosing the screws. Gondor
  20. Looks like you over did the panel/pre-shadeing/weathering on the unit under the bench Gondor
  21. Elvis last had a single out, while he was alive, in 1977 so even I have heard/seen him on TOTP! Gondor
  22. Neither outlets are in my home City, I would have to travel to the wilds of Falkirk to browse both stores. Gondor
  23. Glad to see that someone thinks about seat harnesses being different for each seat seeing that kit manufacturers usually provide two identicle seats. Great work, enjoying every update in awe. Gondor
