  1. Another web site regarding this airplane in PVKJ. (Pomorsko vazduhoplovstvo kraljevine Jugoslavije) http://www.paluba.info/smf/index.php/topic,1589.0.html Best regards, Ales
  2. Yes they were eliptical shape. J-W for building another one..... Never is too late. The kit still can be found at the Ebay. Now new decals arrived from Lift Here for number 257. https://lifthereserbia.wordpress.com/2012/09/22/774-lh-sea-patrol-naval-aviation-of-kingdom-of-yugoslavia/ Wal 257 used BMW VI engines and Huma model is covered now. Only propellers need to be changed and changes you have already done. Wal 200 can be made out of the A-model kit. Decals can be used from the same source. Number 200 is to be put by spraying on the mask. At the Aero magazin are 3D plans in 1/72 for Wal 200 and correct font and high for the number 200 is solved. Happy modelling! Regards, Ales
  3. Corrections for the Huma model: -floats are V shape and should not be. They are need to be straight. Look at the 3D plans, front view. -ailerons at the model are too small need to be replaced. -color you used is to dark and should be SM finish. -propellers can be used from A model kit they are usable for the HM -towing wheels can be used from the same source Best regards, Ales
  4. Hi J-W Reading your article I see you have only look on the instructions from the kit and Lift hire decals . There are fine books covering this particular matter PVKJ. (Pomorsko vazduhoplovstvo Kraljevine Jugoslavije) I strongly recommend you book Naval aviation at the eastern coast of the adriatic sea 1918-1941 Volume 1 authors are Vladimir Isaic (+) and Daniel Frka. Next is magazine from year 1990 also good reading and pictures for you. Link to get them iare hire: http://www.tkoznazna.hr/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=113 http://www.ebay.ie/itm/aviation-YU-JNA-aero-magazin-dc-6-albatros-sabre-airplane-dornier-/122305676026?hash=item1c79fc82fa:g:BoYAAOSwA3dYQWrI I like the subject you have choose. Actually you made it fine with some deviations. I have three Wal`s at home. Two HM and one A model. But I like to give you some advises regarding how to correct this Huma model if you like. Regards, Ales
  5. I like this Mig-21PFM ev.br.22719 very much. it is called Mosquito (komarac) in the time of active service in Zeljava. As you have information regarding turning in NMF again I must say this is something new for me..(I have never heard) This particular aircraft was in the line of maintenance a long time waiting some vital parts out of the USSR. As it was older model decision was taken to convert it to attack airplane (jurišnik) But it had to be repainted on order to HQ JRV i PVO directive. As I remember it has been put Gsh 23 gun on it. It take some time in the air only experimental due to see how this cammo works in the real life. Later it 1996 was sold to Congo with three others PFM`s and one Mig-21US. They are put in the same cammo as this one. Today I have find picture this particular plane sitting on the airport totally destroyed. But Gsh23 is still attached at the belly...
  6. La-7 is bad kit with a lot of issues. We need new kit, maybe from Zvezda. ICM Lagg-3 is something different. It is cheap and very fine model. I would like to see 35,29 and 66, series from them. But they have a lot of work to do....or need more founds to make tools.
  7. When F2A-2 used in USN they was new......this looks like Finnish Buffalo at the end of the war.
